Abstract
Description
도 2 내지 도 4는 본 발명의 일 구현예에 따른 질소산화물 저감 촉매의 단면의 표면상태를 보여주는 주사 전자 현미경(scanning electron microscope: SEM) 사진이다.
도 5는 질소산화물의 rich 상태 도달 후 20초간 NOx slip 양을 평가한 그래프이다.
도 6은 질소산화물 저감 촉매의 질소산화물 정화율을 평가한 결과를 나타낸 그래프이다.

Claims (15)
- 셀 격벽으로 구획된 다수의 셀 통로를 포함하는 허니콤 기재; 및
상기 셀 통로의 내면 상에 위치하는 코팅층을 포함하고,
상기 코팅층은,
Mg 치환 알루미나(MgAl2O4), 세리아(CeO2), 및 복합세리아를 포함하는 지지체; 및 상기 지지체 상에 담지되는 Ba와 Pt, Pd, Rh, 및 이들의 조합에서 선택되는 귀금속 촉매를 포함하고,
상기 Ba는,
Ba 총량의 50 내지 70 중량%가 상기 Mg 치환 알루미나(MgAl2O4) 상에 담지되고,
Ba 총량의 30 내지 50 중량%가 상기 세리아(CeO2) 상에 담지되고,
Ba 총량의 20% 이하가 상기 복합세리아 상에 담지되는 것인 질소산화물 저감 촉매. - 삭제
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 귀금속 촉매는,
상기 Pt 80 내지 90 중량%;
상기 Pd 5 내지 10 중량%; 및
상기 Rh 5 내지 10 중량%
를 포함하는 것인 질소산화물 저감 촉매. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 세리아 상에는 상기 Pt가 담지되고,
상기 Pt의 담지량은 Pt 총량의 10 내지 25 중량%인 질소산화물 저감 촉매. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 Mg 치환 알루미나(MgAl2O4) 상에는 Pt/Pd의 합금 형태의 귀금속 촉매가 담지되고,
상기 귀금속 촉매의 담지량은, Pt가 Pt 총량의 30 내지 50 중량%, 그리고 Pd가 Pd 총량의 80 내지 100 중량%인 질소산화물 저감 촉매. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 복합세리아 상에는 Pt 및 Rh이 조합된 형태의 귀금속 촉매가 담지되고,
상기 귀금속 촉매의 담지량은 Pt가 Pt 총량의 40 내지 60 중량%, 그리고 Rh이 Rh 총량의 80 내지 100 중량%인 질소산화물 저감 촉매. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 코팅층은,
상기 Mg 치환 알루미나(MgAl2O4) 20 내지 40 중량%;
상기 세리아(CeO2) 20 내지 40 중량%;
상기 복합세리아 20 내지 40 중량%;
상기 Ba 5 내지 15 중량%; 및
상기 귀금속 촉매 1.5 중량% 이하
를 포함하는 질소산화물 저감 촉매. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 Mg 치환 알루미나(MgAl2O4)는 스피넬 구조로 형성되는 것인 질소산화물 저감 촉매. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 복합세리아는, CeO2와 Al, Si, La, Pr, Zr, Nd, 및 이들의 조합에서 선택된 적어도 하나의 산화물이 혼합된 것인 질소산화물 저감 촉매. - 제9항에 있어서,
상기 복합세리아는,
상기 CeO2 60 내지 90 중량%; 및
상기 Al, Si, La, Pr, Zr, Nd, 및 이들의 조합에서 선택된 적어도 하나의 산화물 10 내지 40 중량%
를 포함하는 질소산화물 저감 촉매. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 Mg 치환 알루미나(MgAl2O4)의 평균 입경은 7 내지 15 ㎛인 질소산화물 저감 촉매. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 세리아(CeO2)의 평균 입경은 2 내지 7 ㎛인 질소산화물 저감 촉매. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 복합세리아의 평균 입경은 2 내지 7 ㎛인 질소산화물 저감 촉매. - 배기가스 내에 존재하는 질소산화물, 및 이를 흡장시키기 위한 제1항 및 제3항 내지 제13항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 질소산화물 저감 촉매를 포함하는 질소산화물 저감 촉매 시스템.
- 제14항에 따른 질소산화물 저감 촉매 시스템은, 이론 공연비(A/F)가 14.7 이상인 희박 연소(lean-burn) 엔진에서 작동되는 질소산화물 저감 촉매 시스템.
