도 17 은, 몇 개의 샘플 (담체를 구성하는 산화물 분말) 의 BET 1 점법에 기초하는 비표면적을 나타내는 그래프로서, 가로축은 Al 성분 (Al2O3 조성) 의 질량%, 세로축은 초기 비표면적 (㎡/g) 이다.

Claims (11)
- 배기 가스 정화용 산화 촉매로서,
기재와,
그 기재상에 형성된 촉매 코트층과,
그 촉매 코트층의 적어도 일부를 구성하는 담체와,
그 담체에 담지되는 일산화탄소의 산화를 촉매하는 귀금속 입자로서의 팔라듐 (Pd) 입자 및/또는 백금 (Pt) 입자를 갖고 있고,
여기서 상기 담체는, 구성 금속 원소로서 Al 과 Zr 혹은 Al 과 Zr 과 Ti 를 산화물 환산으로 이하의 질량 비율 :
Al2O3 40 ∼ 99 질량% ;
ZrO2 1 ∼ 45 질량% ;
TiO2 0 ∼ 15 질량% ;
로 함유하는 복합 금속 산화물을 주체로 구성되어 있고, X 선 회절 (XRD) 에 의해 구해지는 결정자 사이즈가 1 ㎚ ∼ 10 ㎚ 이고, 또한,
그 담체의 XRD 피크의 강도비 (ITi/IZr) 가 0.02 이하인 (여기서 ITi 는 루틸형 티타니아 (TiO2) 의 2θ 각이 27 도 (±0.2 도) 에 있어서의 XRD 피크 강도이고, IZr 는 지르코니아 (ZrO2) 의 2θ 각이 30 도 (±0.2 도) 에 있어서의 XRD 피크 강도이다), 배기 가스 정화용 산화 촉매. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 복합 금속 산화물은, Al 과 Zr 혹은 Al 과 Zr 과 Ti 를 산화물 환산으로 이하의 질량 비율 :
Al2O3 50 ∼ 90 질량% ;
ZrO2 5 ∼ 40 질량% ;
TiO2 0 ∼ 15 질량% ;
로 함유하는 배기 가스 정화용 산화 촉매. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 귀금속 입자의 CO 펄스 흡착법에 기초하는 평균 입자 직경이 5 ㎚ 이하인 배기 가스 정화용 산화 촉매. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 촉매 코트층의 적어도 일부에는 추가로 탄화수소 흡착재가 구비되어 있는 배기 가스 정화용 산화 촉매. - 제 4 항에 있어서,
상기 탄화수소 흡착재로서 제올라이트 입자를 구비하고 있는 배기 가스 정화용 산화 촉매. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 담체의 BET 1 점법에 의한 초기 비표면적이 110 ㎡/g 이상인 배기 가스 정화용 산화 촉매. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
디젤 엔진의 배기 가스를 정화시키기 위해 사용되는 배기 가스 정화용 산화 촉매. - 엔진으로부터 배출되는 배기 가스를 정화시키는 배기 가스 정화 장치로서,
상기 엔진에 연통하는 배기 통로와, 그 배기 통로 내에 배치된 배기 가스 정화부를 구비하고 있고,
상기 배기 가스 정화부는, 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 기재된 배기 가스 정화용 산화 촉매를 구비하는 배기 가스 정화 장치. - 삭제
