상기 금속 원자 또는 금속 이온은, 주기표의 3A족, 4A족, 5A족, 6A족, 7A족, 8족, 1B족, 3B족, 및 6B족에 포함되는 금속 원자 또는 금속 이온으로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 연료 전지용 전극 촉매. - 제5항에 있어서,

- 제1항 또는 제3항에 있어서의 연료 전지용 전극 촉매를 애노드; 캐소드; 또는, 애노드 및 캐소드;에 각각 독립적으로 함유하는 연료 전지.
- 제1항 또는 제3항에 있어서의 연료 전지용 전극 촉매를 이용해 연료의 산화 반응을 행하는 공정; 제1항 또는 제3항에 있어서의 연료 전지용 전극 촉매를 이용해 산화제의 환원 반응을 행하는 공정; 또는, 제1항 또는 제3항에 있어서의 연료 전지용 전극 촉매를 이용해 연료의 산화 반응 및 산화제의 환원 반응을 행하는 공정;을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 발전 방법.
