Claims (11)
- 백라이트 측으로부터 순차로백라이트,편광판,파장 550nm에서 위상차 값이 50nm 내지 140nm인 제1 광학이방성층,광학이방성이 음의 값인 제2의 광학이방성층,서로 대향 배치된 상부 기판과 하부 기판을 포함하고 이 상부 기판과 하부 기판 사이에 액정층이 중재하는 균질 배향 ECB(Electrically Controlled Birefringence) 방식 액정셀,파장 550nm에서 위상차 값이 130nm 내지 210nm인 제3 광학이방성 층, 및편광판을 적어도 포함하는 액정표시장치로서,상기 제1 광학이방성층이, 네마틱 하이브리드 배향 구조를 고정화한 액정 필름을 적어도 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 투과형 액정표시장치.
- 백라이트 측으로부터 순차로편광판,파장 550nm에서 위상차 값이 50nm 내지 140nm인 제1 광학이방성층,서로 대향 배치된 상부 기판과 하부 기판을 포함하고 이 상부 기판과 하부 기판 사이에 액정층이 중재하는 균질 배향 ECB(Electrically Controlled Birefringence) 방식 액정셀,광학이방성이 음의 값인 제2의 광학이방성층,파장 550nm에서 위상차 값이 130nm 내지 210nm인 제3 광학이방성 층 및편광판을 적어도 포함하는 액정표시장치로서,제1 광학이방성층이, 네마틱 하이브리드 배향 구조를 고정화한 액정 필름을 적어도 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 투과형 액정표시장치.

- 백라이트 측으로부터 순차로편광판,파장 550nm에서 위상차 값이 130nm 내지 210nm인 제3 광학이방성 소자,서로 대향 배치된 상부 기판과 하부 기판을 포함하고 이 상부 기판과 하부 기판 사이에 액정층이 중재하는 균질 배향 ECB(Electrically Controlled Birefringence) 방식 액정셀,광학이방성이 음의 값인 제2의 광학이방성층,파장 550nm에서 위상차 값이 50nm 내지 140nm인 제1 광학이방성층 및편광판을 적어도 포함하는 액정표시장치로서,제1 광학이방성층이, 네마틱 하이브리드 배향 구조를 고정화한 액정 필름을 적어도 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 제2 광학이방성층이, 주굴절률의 관계, 파장 550nm에서 두께 방향의 위상차 값(Rth) 및 면내 위상차 값(Re)을 각각 하기 수학식 (1) 내지 (3)으로 나타냈을 때, Re가 0nm 내지 30nm이고, Rth가 -200nm 내지 -30nm인 것을 특징으로 하는 투과형 액정표시장치:(1) nx≥ny>nz(2) Rth = {nz -(nx+ny)/2} x d(3) Re = (nx-ny) x d(식 중, nx 및 ny는 면내 주굴절률, nz는 두께 방향의 주굴절률, d는 두께(nm)를 나타낸다).
- 제5항에 있어서, 제2 광학이방성층이, 액정성 화합물, 트리아세틸셀룰로스, 폴리아미드, 폴리이미드, 폴리에스테르, 폴리에테르케톤, 폴리아미드이미드, 폴리에스테르이미드 및 환상 올레핀계 고분자 화합물 중에서 선택되는 적어도 1종의 소재로 형성된 층인 것을 특징으로 하는 투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 제3 광학이방성층이, 고분자 연신 필름인 것을 특징으로 하는 투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 제3 광학이방성층이, 광학적으로 양(+)의 일축성을 나타내는 액정 물질이 액정 상태에서 형성한 네마틱 배향을 고정화하여 수득되는 액정 필름인 것을 특징으로 하는 투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 제1 광학이방성층의 액정 필름의 하이브리드 방향을 기판 평면으로 투영시킨 틸트 방향과 액정층의 러빙 방향과의 각도가 0±30도 범위 내인 것을 특징으로 하는 투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 제1 광학이방성층의 액정필름의 하이브리드 방향을 기판 평면으로 투영시킨 틸트 방향과 제3의 광학이방성 층의 지상축(slow axis)과의 각도가 70도 이상 110도 미만 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 제1 광학이방성층의 액정필름이, 광학적으로 양의 일축성을 나타내는 액정물질을 포함하고, 이 액정물질이 액정상태에서 형성한 네마틱 하이브리드 배향을 고정화한 액정필름이고, 이 네마틱 하이브리드 배향에서 평균 틸트 각이 5 내지 45도인 액정필름인 것을 특징으로 하는 투과형 액정표시장치.
