Claims (5)
- 제1 전극과, 이 제1 전극과의 사이에서 전계(電界)를 생성시키는 복수의 선형상부(line-shaped portion)를 가진 제2 전극이 마련된 제1 기판과,상기 제1 기판과 대향하는 제2 기판과,상기 제1 기판과 상기 제2 기판 사이에 협지(挾持)되고, 상기 전계에 의해 각각 구동되는 복수의 표시 화소로 구분되는 액정층과,상기 제2 기판의 외측에 배치되는 편광막과,상기 편광막의 외측에 배치되는 광학 부재막을 가지고,상기 광학 부재막은 리터데이션(retardation) 값이 120 ~ 160 nm의 범위인 정면 위상차를 가지고, 또한이 광학 부재막의 광학축이 상기 제2 전극의 상기 복수 선형상부의 연재(延在) 방향과 이루는 각은 30 ~ 40°, 또는 50 ~ 60°의 범위인 관계를 만족하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1 전극과, 이 제 1 전극과의 사이에서 전계를 생성시키는 복수의 선형상부를 가진 제2 전극이 마련된 제1 기판과,상기 제1 기판과 대향하는 제2 기판과,상기 제1 기판과 상기 제2 기판 사이에 협지되고, 상기 전계에 의해 각각 구동되는 복수의 표시 화소로 구분되는 액정층과,상기 제2 기판의 외측에 배치되는 편광체를 가지고,상기 편광체는 편광자(偏光子)와, 상기 편광자의 외측에 배치되는 광학 부재막을 가지고,상기 광학 부재막은 리터데이션 값이 120 ~ 160 nm의 범위인 정면 위상차를 가지고, 또한이 광학 부재막의 광학축이 상기 제2 전극의 상기 복수 선형상부의 연재 방향과 이루는 각은 30 ~ 40°, 또는 50 ~ 60°의 범위인 관계를 만족하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 청구항 1 또는 청구항 2에 있어서,상기 광학 부재막의 표면에는 이 광학 부재막을 보호하는 표면 처리가 실시되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 청구항 1 또는 청구항 2에 있어서,상기 광학 부재막은 1축성(一軸性) 또는 2축성 위상차막인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 청구항 1 또는 청구항 2에 기재된 액정 표시 장치를 표시부에 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전자 기기.
