Claims (18)
- 계조 신호 전압 발생 회로와,상기 계조 신호 전압에 의해 아날로그적으로 휘도가 제어되는 발광 소자와 그 발광 소자의 휘도 제어 회로를 구비하는 화소와,복수의 상기 화소가 배열된 표시부를 포함하는 화상 표시 장치로서,상기 발광 소자와 상기 휘도 제어 회로 사이에, 드레인측이 상기 발광 소자의 캐소드 전극에 접속되고, 소스측이 상기 휘도 제어 회로에 접속되고, 온과 오프의 2값으로 게이트 전압이 제어되는 n 채널 형의 트랜지스터 스위치가 설치되고,상기 트랜지스터 스위치의 온 시의 게이트 전압값이, 상기 발광 소자의 애노드 전극에 인가되는 전압값보다도 작은 화상 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 발광 소자의 휘도 제어 회로는 n 채널 TFT를 포함하는 화상 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 발광 소자는 유기 EL 소자인 화상 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 표시부는 절연 기판 상에 구성되는 화상 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 발광 소자의 타단에 인가되는 전압값은 각 발광 소자의 표시색에 따라 서로 다른 화상 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 발광 소자의 휘도 제어 회로는 1 프레임 기간 내에서의 각 발광 소자의 발광 시간을 변조 또는 발광 강도를 변조함으로써 각 화소의 아날로그 휘도를 제어하는 화상 표시 장치.
- 계조 신호 전압 발생 수단과,상기 계조 신호 전압에 의해 아날로그적으로 휘도가 제어되는 발광 소자와 그 발광 소자의 휘도 제어 회로를 구비하는 화소와,상기 복수의 화소가 배열된 표시부를 포함하는 화상 표시 장치로서,상기 발광 소자와 상기 휘도 제어 회로 사이에, 드레인측이 상기 발광 소자의 캐소드 전극에 접속되고, 소스측이 상기 휘도 제어 회로에 접속되고, 온과 오프의 2값으로 게이트 전압이 제어되는 n 채널 형의 트랜지스터 스위치를 구비하고,상기 트랜지스터 스위치의 온 시의 동작점이 포화 영역으로 되도록 제어되는 화상 표시 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 발광 소자의 휘도 제어 회로는 n 채널 TFT를 포함하는 화상 표시 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 발광 소자는 유기 EL 소자인 화상 표시 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 표시부는 절연 기판 상에 구성되는 화상 표시 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 발광 소자의 타단에 인가되는 전압값은 각 발광 소자의 표시색에 따라 서로 다른 화상 표시 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 발광 소자의 휘도 제어 회로는 1 프레임 기간 내에서의 각 발광 소자의 발광 시간을 변조 또는 발광 강도를 변조함으로써 각 화소의 아날로그 휘도를 제어 하는 화상 표시 장치.
- 계조 신호 전압 발생 회로와,상기 계조 신호 전압에 의해 아날로그적으로 휘도가 제어되는 발광 소자와 그 발광 소자의 휘도 제어 회로를 구비하는 화소와,상기 복수의 화소가 배열된 표시부를 포함하는 화상 표시 장치로서,상기 휘도 제어 회로는 온과 오프의 2값으로 게이트 전압이 제어되는 제1 트랜지스터 스위치를 구비하고,상기 발광 소자와 상기 휘도 제어 회로 사이에, 드레인측이 상기 발광 소자의 캐소드 전극에 접속되고, 소스측이 상기 휘도 제어 회로에 접속되고, 온과 오프의 2값으로 게이트 전압이 제어되는 n 채널 형의 제2 트랜지스터 스위치를 구비하며,상기 제1 트랜지스터 스위치의 게이트 전압 진폭보다도 상기 제2 트랜지스터 스위치의 게이트 전압 진폭이 작은 화상 표시 장치.
- 제13항에 있어서,상기 발광 소자의 휘도 제어 회로는 n 채널 TFT를 포함하는 화상 표시 장치.
- 제13항에 있어서,상기 발광 소자는 유기 EL 소자인 화상 표시 장치.
- 제13항에 있어서,상기 표시부는 절연 기판 상에 구성되는 화상 표시 장치.
- 제13항에 있어서,상기 발광 소자의 타단에 인가되는 전압값은 각 발광 소자의 표시색에 따라 서로 다른 화상 표시 장치.
- 제13항에 있어서,상기 발광 소자의 휘도 제어 회로는 1 프레임 기간 내에서의 각 발광 소자의 발광 시간을 변조 또는 발광 강도를 변조함으로써 각 화소의 아날로그 휘도를 제어하는 화상 표시 장치.
