Claims (7)
- 한 쌍의 기판과,상기 한 쌍의 기판 사이에 유지된 액정층과,상기 한 쌍의 기판 중 한쪽의 기판에 형성된 절연층과,상기 한쪽의 기판에 형성된 화소 전극과,상기 한쪽의 기판에 형성된 공통 전극을 구비하되,상기 화소 전극과 상기 공통 전극 중 적어도 한쪽의 전극은 상기 절연층의 액정층측에 형성되고,상기 한쪽의 전극은 슬릿을 사이에 두고 배열된 복수의 가지(枝)부를 포함하고,상기 절연층의 상기 액정층과는 반대측에 상기 화소 전극과 상기 공통 전극 중 다른 쪽의 전극이 배치되고,상기 다른 쪽의 전극의 액정층과는 반대측에 별도의 절연층이 형성되고,상기 절연층 및 상기 별도의 절연층은 요철을 갖는것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 요철의 정상부가 불규칙하게 마련되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 가지부의 폭을 L(㎛)로 하고, 상기 슬릿의 폭을 S(㎛)로 하고, 상기 요철의 인접하는 정상부 간의 거리를 D(㎛)로 한 경우에,(L+S)×0.1≤D≤L+S의 관계를 만족하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 요철의 정상부와 바닥부 중 적어도 한쪽이 상기 각 가지부에 대하여 하나 이상 마련되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 화소 전극 및 상기 공통 전극은 광원으로부터의 광을 투과하는 투광성 도전 재료로 형성되어, 투과 표시를 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 한 쌍의 기판 중 다른 쪽의 기판에 형성된 컬러 필터와,상기 컬러 필터상에 형성된 탑 코트(topcoat)층을 더 구비하되,상기 탑 코트층은 요철을 갖는것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
