Abstract
Description
Claims (38)
- 수직 배향형 액정 표시 장치에 사용되는 편광판으로서, 상기 편광판이 편광자, 및 아세틸기와 프로피오닐기를 갖거나 또는 아세틸기와 부티릴기를 갖는 혼합 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 필름을 갖고, 상기 혼합 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 필름이, 캐스팅 제막(製膜) 후, 캐스팅 제막 시의 폭 방향으로 연신된 것이고, 막 두께가 30 내지 110 ㎛이며, 하기 수학식 1로 정의되는 면내 리타데이션값(R0)이 31 내지 120 nm이고, 또한 하기 수학식 2로 정의되는 두께 방향의 리타데이션값(Rt)이 60 내지 300 nm이며, 상기 셀룰로오스 에스테르 필름의 캐스팅 방향을 반송 방향으로 하여, 상기 셀룰로오스 에스테르 필름과, 반송 방향으로 연신된 편광자 필름을 롤ㆍ투ㆍ롤로 연속적으로 접합하는 공정을 거쳐 제조된 길이가 긴 롤로부터 잘라낸 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.<수학식 1><수학식 2>식 중, nX는 최대 굴절율을 부여하는 제1 방향에서의 필름 면내 굴절율, nY는 제1 방향에 수직인 제2 방향에서의 필름 면내 굴절율, nZ는 필름 두께 방향의 굴절율, d는 필름 두께(nm)를 나타낸다.
- 제1항에 있어서, 편광자의 2색성 물질의 배향 방향과 상기 혼합 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 필름의 면내 최대 굴절율 부여 방향이 이루는 각도가 80 내지 100°인 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 혼합 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 필름의 면내 리타데이션값(R0)이 31 내지 60 nm이고, 두께 방향의 리타데이션값(Rt)이 90 내지 200 nm인 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 혼합 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 필름의 면내 리타데이션값(R0)이 31 내지 50 nm이고, 두께 방향의 리타데이션값(Rt)이 110 내지 150 nm인 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 혼합 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 필름의 혼합 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르의 총 아실기 치환도가 1.2 내지 2.8인 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 혼합 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르의 총 아실기 치환도가 1.5 내지 2.8이고 프로피오닐기 치환도가 0.6 내지 1.2인 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 혼합 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르의 아세틸기 치환도가 2.0 미만인 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 편광자를 사이에 두고 다른쪽 면에 셀룰로오스 트리아세테이트 필름을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 편광자를 사이에 두고 양쪽 면에 상기 혼합 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 필름을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
- 제8항에 있어서, 편광자를 사이에 두고 양쪽 면에 상기 혼합 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 필름을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 혼합 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 필름이 편광 크로스 니콜 상태에서 인식되는 크기가 5 내지 50 ㎛의 이물질이 250 mm2 당 150개 이하이고, 50 ㎛를 초과하는 이물질이 0개인 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 혼합 지방산 셀룰로오스 지방산 에스테르 필름이 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 100 중량부에 대하여 가소제를 1 내지 30 중량부 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 혼합 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 필름이 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 100 중량부에 대하여 가소제를 1 내지 30 중량부 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 혼합 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 필름이 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 100 중량부에 대하여 가소제를 1 내지 30 중량부 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 혼합 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 필름이 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 100 중량부에 대하여 필름 표면에 0.1 ㎛ 이하의 요철을 생성시키는 미립자를 0.005 내지 0.3 중량부 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 혼합 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 필름이 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 100 중량부에 대하여 필름 표면에 0.1 ㎛ 이하의 요철을 생성시키는 미립자를 0.005 내지 0.3 중량부 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 혼합 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 필름이 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 100 중량부에 대하여 필름 표면에 0.1 ㎛ 이하의 요철을 생성시키는 미립자를 0.005 내지 0.3 중량부 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
- 제12항에 있어서, 상기 혼합 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 필름이 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 100 중량부에 대하여 필름 표면에 0.1 ㎛ 이하의 요철을 생성시키는 미립자를 0.005 내지 0.3 중량부 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 혼합 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 필름이 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 100 중량부에 대하여 0.8 내지 2.0 중량부의 자외선 흡수제를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 혼합 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 필름이 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 100 중량부에 대하여 0.8 내지 2.0 중량부의 자외선 흡수제를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 혼합 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 필름이 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 100 중량부에 대하여 0.8 내지 2.0 중량부의 자외선 흡수제를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
- 제12항에 있어서, 상기 혼합 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 필름이 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 100 중량부에 대하여 0.8 내지 2.0 중량부의 자외선 흡수제를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 혼합 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 필름이 지방산 셀룰로오스 에스테르 100 중량부에 대하여 0.8 내지 2.0 중량부의 자외선 흡수제를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판.
