Claims (10)
- 표시 장치에 있어서,복수의 화소를 포함하고, 상기 화소는 n개의 부화소를 단위로 하여 1화소를 구성하는 표시 패널과,상기 화소에 표시 데이터에 따른 표시 신호를 출력하는 주사선 구동 회로와,입력된 입력 표시 데이터의 1프레임을 n 서브프레임으로 n배속화하는 n배속화 회로와,n배속화 회로에서 생성된 n개의 표시 데이터의 해상도를 변환하는 해상도 변환 회로와,변환된 n개의 표시 데이터의 1화소를 구성하는 n개의 부화소의 조합을, n개의 서브프레임에 대응하여 n가지로 바꾸는 재배열 회로를 포함하는 신호 변환부를 포함하고,상기 해상도 변환에 있어서는, n배속화된 n개의 표시 데이터의 각각의 위상을 서로 다르게 하기 위한 위상 시프터와, 위상이 서로 다른 n개의 표시 데이터를 순차적으로 선택하는 셀렉터를 이용하여, n개의 서브프레임마다 입력 표시 데이터의 샘플링 위치를 서로 다르게 하여 입력 표시 데이터의 해상도를 변환하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 재배열 회로에서 바꾸어진 부화소의 조합은, n개의 서브프레임에 대응한 표시 영역마다 서로 다른 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 n개의 부화소는, n개의 색으로 구성되고, 상기 부화소를 격자 형상으로 배열하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 n개의 부화소는, n개의 색으로 구성되고, 상기 부화소를 행마다 또는 열마다 0.5 부화소만큼 어긋나게 하여 배열하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 부화소는, 4개의 부화소를 포함하고, 4개의 색으로 구성되며, 4개의 부화소를 격자 형상으로 배열하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 부화소는, 3개의 부화소를 포함하고, 3개의 색으로 구성되며, 3개의 부화소를 L자 형상으로 배열하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 3개의 부화소 중 적어도 1개의 색을 직선 형상으로 배열하고, 상기 3개의 부화소의 배열을 2개의 서브프레임에 대응하여 2가지로 재배열하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 L자 형상으로 배열된 3개의 부화소를 단위로 하는 L자 형상의 화소와, 상기 L자 형상의 화소와 쌍을 이루는 역L자 형상의 화소를 행 방향으로 인접하여 배열하고, 2개의 화소가 2행×3열의 격자를 이루도록 구성한 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 L자 형상으로 배열된 3개의 부화소를 단위로 하는 L자 형상의 화소와, 상기 L자 형상의 화소와 쌍을 이루는 역L자 형상의 화소를 열 방향으로 인접하여 배열하고, 2개의 화소가 3행×2열의 격자를 이루도록 구성한 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 1화소를 구성하는 n개의 부화소는, 동일한 면적인 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
