Description
Claims (14)
- 상담지체(像擔持體)와,상기 상담지체에 접촉하면서 회전하여 상기 상담지체를 대전(帶電)시키는 대전 롤과,상기 대전 롤의 표면에 접촉하여 상기 대전 롤의 표면에의 부착물을 제거하는 클리닝 부재를 구비한 화상 형성 장치로서,상기 클리닝 부재는 발포체이며, 평균 셀 직경이 0.18㎜ 이상 1.0㎜ 이하이고, 상기 대전 롤의 십점(十点) 표면 거칠기(Rz : JIS B0601-1982)가 1㎛ 이상 17㎛ 이하인 화상 형성 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 대전 롤의 십점 표면 거칠기(Rz: JIS B0601-1982)가 1.0㎛ 이상 7.0㎛ 이하인 화상 형성 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 대전 롤의 십점 표면 거칠기(Rz: JIS B0601-1982)가 1.0㎛ 이상 3.0㎛ 이하인 화상 형성 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 클리닝 부재의 셀 수가 원주 길이 25㎜당 40∼80개인 화상 형성 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 상담지체에 형성되는 정전(靜電) 잠상(潛像)을 현상하는 현상제에 구형의 실리카가 포함되어 있는 화상 형성 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 상담지체가 폴리테트라플루오로에틸렌을 포함하고 있는 화상 형성 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 상담지체에 형성되는 정전 잠상을 현상하는 현상제에 포함되는 토너가 중합(重合) 토너인 화상 형성 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 대전 롤의 대전 방식이 AC+DC 인가 방식인 화상 형성 장치.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 8 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 클리닝 부재가 발포(發泡) 우레탄 수지를 포함하여 구성되어 있는 화상 형성 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 셀 내에는 상기 대전 롤의 표면에의 부착물이 수용되어 응집체로 되는 화상 형성 장치.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,상기 응집체가 상기 셀로부터 상기 대전 롤을 통하여 상기 상담지체로 이동하는 화상 형성 장치.
- 상담지체와, 상기 상담지체를 접촉 대전에 의해 대전시키는 대전 롤과, 상기 대전 롤의 표면을 클리닝하는 클리닝 부재를 구비한 화상 형성 장치의 클리닝 방법으로서,복수의 셀을 갖는 발포체에 의해 구성되는 상기 클리닝 부재 중 적어도 1개의 표면층을 형성하는 과정과,상기 클리닝 부재의 표면층을 상기 대전 롤의 표면에 접촉시킴으로써, 상기 대전 롤의 표면에의 부착물을 제거하는 과정과,상기 발포체의 상기 복수의 셀 각각 내에서의 제거된 부착물을 응집하는 과정과,한층 응집하여, 상기 복수의 셀 각각 내에서의 응집체를 크게 하는 과정과,커진 상기 응집체를 상기 발포체의 상기 복수의 셀 각각 내로부터 상기 대전 롤의 표면으로 방출하는 과정을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 클리닝 방법.
- 제 12 항에 있어서,커진 상기 응집체는 중력과 기계적 스트레스 중 적어도 1개에 의해, 상기 복수의 셀 각각으로부터 방출되는 클리닝 방법.
- 제 12 항에 있어서,커진 상기 응집체는 상기 대전 롤의 표면으로부터 상기 상담지체의 표면까지 이동하는 과정과,상기 상담지체의 표면에 있는 커진 상기 응집체를 회수하는 과정을 더 포함하는 클리닝 방법.
