Claims (5)
- 화소전극과 박막트랜지스터를 구비한 제1 기판;상기 제1 기판에 대향하며 공통전극과 V자 홈이 형성된 컬러필터를 구비한 제2 기판; 및상기 제1 기판과 제2 기판 사이에 개재되는 액정층;을 포함하며각 단위 화소에 배치되는 단위 화소전극은, 매트릭스 형태로 배치되고 상기 V자 홈이 각각의 중심에 오버랩되는 다수의 전극 패턴과, 십자형태를 갖는 다수의 제1 슬릿과, 상기 제1 슬릿들로부터 상기 중심 방향으로 경사지도록 연장되는 다수의 제2 슬릿을 포함하는 수직배향 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제2 슬릿은 상기 제1 슬릿과 50 내지 60°의 경사각도를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 수직 배향 모드 액정표시장치.
- 화소전극과 박막트랜지스터를 구비한 제1 기판;상기 제1 기판에 대향하며 공통전극과 V자 홈이 형성된 컬러필터를 구비한 제2 기판; 및상기 제1 기판과 제2 기판 사이에 게재된 액정층을 구비하며,각 단위 화소에 배치되는 단위 화소전극은 매트릭스 형태로 배치되고 상기 V자 홈이 각각의 중심에 오버랩되는 다수의 전극 패턴과, 제1 방향의 길이와 상기 제1 방향과 수직한 제2 방향의 길이가 서로 다른 십자 형태를 갖는 다수의 실릿을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 수직 배향모드 액정표시 장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 상기 제1방향의 길이가 상기 제2방향의 길이보다 긴 십자 형태의 제1슬릿과 상기 제1방향의 길이가 상기 제2방향의 길이 보다 짧은 십자 형태의 제2슬릿이 교대로 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 수직 배향 모드 액정표시장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 상기 제1방향의 길이와 상기 제2방향의 길이의 비는 1:1.5 내지 1:2인 것을 특징으로 하는 수직 배향 모드 액정표시장치.
