Claims (36)
- 화소 전극이 형성되어 있는 구동 기판과, 그것에 대향하는 대향 전극이 형성되어 있는 대향 기판과, 상기 구동 기판과 상기 대향 기판의 사이에 끼워진 액정을 포함하는 액정 표시 소자로서,상기 화소 전극에 슬릿 또는 컷이 형성되고,상기 슬릿 또는 컷과 상기 화소 전극의 변에 의해 구분된 화소 전극의 각 영역에 대응하여, 상기 대향 기판에 점형상의 돌기가 설치되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 액정 표시 소자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 화소 전극이 직사각형상이고,상기 화소 전극의 단변 방향과 평행하게 상기 슬릿 또는 컷이 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 액정 표시 소자.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 돌기의 바닥 면적이 50㎛2 내지 225㎛2인 것을 특징으로 하는, 액정 표시 소자.

- 제 19 항에 있어서,상기 화소 전극을 직사각형상으로 하고,상기 화소 전극의 단변 방향과 평행하게 상기 슬릿 또는 컷을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 액정 표시 소자의 제조 방법.
- 제 19 항 또는 제 20 항에 있어서,상기 대향 기판에 감광성 수지를 도포하고, 패터닝함으로써, 상기 돌기를 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 액정 표시 소자의 제조 방법.
- 제 19 항 또는 제 20 항에 있어서,상기 돌기의 바닥 면적을 50㎛2 내지 225㎛2로 하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 액정 표시 소자의 제조 방법.
