Claims (9)
- 입력 영상 신호의 각 필드를 복수의 서브필드로 분할하고, 화소 셀을 각 표시 라인 상에 갖는 표시 패널을 그 복수의 서브필드의 각각에 대해 구동하여 계조표시를 행하는 표시 패널의 구동 방법에 있어서,상기 서브필드의 각각에 대해,상기 입력 영상 신호에 기초한 표시 데이터에 따라 상기 화소 셀을 적어도 1 표시 라인 단위로 주사하여 발광 모드 또는 비발광 모드로 개별로 설정하도록 표시 데이터 기입 주사를 행하는 어드레스 과정; 및상기 발광 모드로 설정되어 있는 상기 화소 셀만 발광시키는 유지 과정을 포함하며,상기 어드레스 과정에 있어서, 상기 표시 데이터가 복수의 표시 라인에 대해 동일 데이터를 나타내는 경우, 그 복수의 표시 라인 각각에 대해 동시에 상기 표시 데이터 기입 주사를 행하고,선택소거 어드레스법의 상기 어드레스 과정에 있어서, 각 화소셀에 대한 표시 데이터가 상기 발광 모드에 대응한 소정 값과 동일한 논리 값만을 갖는 상기 표시 패널의 표시라인을 제외한 상기 표시 패널의 표시라인에 대하여 상기 표시 데이터 기입 주사를 실행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 패널의 구동 방법.

- 입력 영상 신호의 각 필드를 복수의 서브필드로 분할하고, 화소 셀을 각 표시 라인 상에 갖는 표시 패널을 그 복수의 서브필드의 각각에 대해 구동하여 계조표시를 행하는 표시 패널의 구동 방법에 있어서,상기 서브필드의 각각에 대해,상기 입력 영상 신호에 기초한 표시 데이터에 따라 상기 화소 셀을 적어도 1 표시 라인 단위로 주사하여 발광 모드 또는 비발광 모드로 개별로 설정하도록 표시 데이터 기입 주사를 행하는 어드레스 과정; 및상기 발광 모드로 설정되어 있는 상기 화소 셀만 발광시키는 유지 과정을 포함하며,상기 어드레스 과정에 있어서, 상기 표시 데이터가 복수의 표시 라인에 대해 동일 데이터를 나타내는 경우, 그 복수의 표시 라인 각각에 대해 동시에 상기 표시 데이터 기입 주사를 행하고,선택기입 어드레스법의 상기 어드레스 과정에 있어서, 각 화소셀에 대한 표시 데이터가 상기 비발광 모드에 대응한 소정 값과 동일한 논리 값만을 갖는 상기 표시 패널의 표시라인을 제외한 상기 표시 패널의 표시라인에 대하여 상기 표시 데이터 기입 주사를 실행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 패널의 구동 방법.
- 입력 영상 신호의 각 필드를 복수의 서브필드로 분할하고, 화소 셀을 각 표시 라인 상에 갖는 표시 패널을 그 복수의 서브필드의 각각에 대해 구동하여 계조표시를 행하는 표시 패널의 구동 방법에 있어서,상기 서브필드의 각각에 대해,상기 입력 영상 신호에 기초한 표시 데이터에 따라 상기 화소 셀을 적어도 1 표시 라인 단위로 주사하여 발광 모드 또는 비발광 모드로 개별로 설정하도록 표시 데이터 기입 주사를 행하는 어드레스 과정; 및상기 발광 모드로 설정되어 있는 상기 화소 셀만 발광시키는 유지 과정을 포함하며,상기 어드레스 과정에 있어서, 상기 표시 데이터가 복수의 표시 라인에 대해 동일 데이터를 나타내는 경우, 그 복수의 표시 라인 각각에 대해 동시에 상기 표시 데이터 기입 주사를 행하고,선택소거 어드레스법의 상기 어드레스 과정에 있어서, 각 화소셀에 대한 표시 데이터의 논리 값이 상기 발광 모드에 대응한 소정 값으로 되는 비율이 많은 표시라인에 대한 상기 표시 데이터 기입 주사를, 그 비율이 적은 표시라인에 대한 상기 표시 데이터 기입 주사보다 앞서 실행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 패널의 구동 방법.
- 입력 영상 신호의 각 필드를 복수의 서브필드로 분할하고, 화소 셀을 각 표시 라인 상에 갖는 표시 패널을 그 복수의 서브필드의 각각에 대해 구동하여 계조표시를 행하는 표시 패널의 구동 방법에 있어서,상기 서브필드의 각각에 대해,상기 입력 영상 신호에 기초한 표시 데이터에 따라 상기 화소 셀을 적어도 1 표시 라인 단위로 주사하여 발광 모드 또는 비발광 모드로 개별로 설정하도록 표시 데이터 기입 주사를 행하는 어드레스 과정; 및상기 발광 모드로 설정되어 있는 상기 화소 셀만 발광시키는 유지 과정을 포함하며,상기 어드레스 과정에 있어서, 상기 표시 데이터가 복수의 표시 라인에 대해 동일 데이터를 나타내는 경우, 그 복수의 표시 라인 각각에 대해 동시에 상기 표시 데이터 기입 주사를 행하고,선택기입 어드레스법의 상기 어드레스 과정에 있어서, 각 화소셀에 대한 표시 데이터의 논리 값이 상기 비발광 모드에 대응한 소정 값으로 되는 비율이 많은 표시라인에 대한 상기 표시 데이터 기입 주사를, 그 비율이 적은 표시라인에 대한 상기 표시 데이터 기입 주사보다 앞서 실행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 패널의 구동 방법.
- 입력 영상 신호의 각 필드를 복수의 서브필드로 분할하고, 화소 셀을 각 표시 라인 상에 갖는 표시 패널을 그 복수의 서브필드의 각각에 대해 구동하여 계조표시를 행하는 표시 패널의 구동 방법에 있어서,상기 서브필드의 각각에 대해,상기 입력 영상 신호에 기초한 표시 데이터에 따라 상기 화소 셀을 적어도 1 표시 라인 단위로 주사하여 발광 모드 또는 비발광 모드로 개별로 설정하도록 표시 데이터 기입 주사를 행하는 어드레스 과정; 및상기 발광 모드로 설정되어 있는 상기 화소 셀만 발광시키는 유지 과정을 포함하며,상기 어드레스 과정에 있어서, 상기 표시 데이터가 복수의 표시 라인에 대해 동일 데이터를 나타내는 경우, 그 복수의 표시 라인 각각에 대해 동시에 상기 표시 데이터 기입 주사를 행하고,상기 어드레스 과정에 있어서, 표시 라인 내의 각 화소 셀에 대한 표시 데이터가 동일하게 되는 표시 라인 그룹에 속하는 표시 라인의 수가 소정 수 이상인 경우, 상기 표시 라인 그룹 내의 표시 라인을 복수의 서브 표시 라인 그룹으로 나누고, 서브 표시 라인 그룹마다 동시에 표시 데이터 기입 주사를 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 패널의 구동 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 어드레스 과정에 있어서, 앞서 표시 데이터 기입 주사가 종료된 제1 표시 라인의 표시 데이터의 제1 논리 값 패턴에 포함되는 표시 데이터의 제2 논리 값 패턴을 갖는 제2 표시 라인의 기입 주사시에 상기 제1 표시 라인을 동시에 주사하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 패널의 구동 방법.
- 입력 영상 신호의 각 필드를 복수의 서브필드로 분할하고, 화소 셀을 각 표시 라인 상에 갖는 표시 패널을 그 복수의 서브필드의 각각에 대해 구동하여 계조표시를 행하는 표시 패널의 구동 방법에 있어서,상기 서브필드의 각각에 대해,상기 입력 영상 신호에 기초한 표시 데이터에 따라 화소 셀의 각각을 표시 라인 마다 주사하여 발광 모드 또는 비발광 모드로 설정하도록 선택소거 어드레스법에 의한 표시 데이터 기입 주사를 행하는 어드레스 과정; 및상기 발광 모드로 설정되어 있는 상기 화소 셀만 발광시키는 유지 과정을 포함하며,상기 어드레스 과정에 있어서, 각 화소셀에 대한 표시 데이터의 논리 값이 상기 비발광 모드에 대응한 소정 값으로 되는 비율이 소정 수 이상의 표시라인에 대한 상기 표시 데이터 기입 주사를, 그 비율이 상기 소정 수보다 적은 표시라인에 대한 상기 표시 데이터 기입 주사보다 앞서 실행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 패널의 구동 방법.
- 입력 영상 신호의 각 필드를 복수의 서브필드로 분할하고, 화소 셀을 각 표시 라인 상에 갖는 표시 패널을 그 복수의 서브필드의 각각에 대해 구동하여 계조표시를 행하는 표시 패널의 구동 방법에 있어서,상기 서브필드의 각각에 대해,상기 입력 영상 신호에 기초한 표시 데이터에 따라 화소 셀의 각각을 표시 라인마다 주사하여 발광 모드 또는 비발광 모드로 설정하도록 선택기입 어드레스법에 의한 표시 데이터 기입 주사를 행하는 어드레스 과정; 및상기 발광 모드로 설정되어 있는 상기 화소 셀만 발광시키는 유지 과정을 포함하며,상기 어드레스 과정에 있어서, 각 화소셀에 대한 표시 데이터의 논리 값이 상기 발광 모드에 대응한 소정 값으로 되는 비율이 소정 수 이상의 표시라인에 대한 상기 표시 데이터 기입 주사를, 그 비율이 상기 소정 수보다 적은 표시라인에 대한 상기 표시 데이터 기입 주사보다 앞서 실행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 패널의 구동 방법.
