Abstract
Description
Claims (17)
- 잉크젯 방식에 의해 패턴이 형성된 적어도 하나의 색의 발광층을 구성하는 유기 EL 소자용 조성물에 있어서,극성용매에서 용해 또는 분산되는 상태로 존재하여 상기 발광층을 형성하기 위한 공역계 고분자 유기 화합물의 전구체; 및극성용매에서 용해 또는 분산되는 상태로 존재하여 상기 발광층의 발광특성을 변화시키기 위한 적어도 한 종류의 형광색소를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 EL 소자용 조성물.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 발광층은, 잉크젯 방법에 의해 형성되는 조성물의 패턴으로 형성되는 유기 EL 소자용 조성물.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 발광특성은 광흡수극대파장인 유기 EL 소자용 조성물.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 공역계 고분자 유기 화합물은 정공 주입수송형 재료인 유기 EL 소자용 조성물.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 공역계 고분자 유기 화합물의 전구체는 폴리알릴렌 비닐렌 전구체(polyallylene vinylene precursor)를 포함하는 유기 EL 소자용 조성물.
- 제 5항에 있어서, 상기 폴리알릴렌 비닐렌 전구체(polyallylene vinylene precursor)는 폴리파라페닐렌 비닐렌(polyparaphenylene vinylene) 또는 폴리파라페닐렌 비닐렌 유도체의 전구체를 포함하는 유기 EL 소자용 조성물.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 형광색소는 로다민(rhodamine) 또는 로다민 유도체를 포함하는 유기 EL 소자용 조성물.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 형광색소는 디스티릴비페닐(distyrylbipheny1) 또는 디스티릴비페닐 유도체를 포함하는 유기 EL 소자용 조성물.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 형광색소는 쿠말린(coumarin) 또는 쿠말린 유도체를 포함하는 유기 EL 소자용 조성물.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 형광색소는 테트라페닐부타디엔(TPB) 또는 테트라페닐부타디엔 유도체를 포함하는 유기 EL 소자용 조성물.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 형광색소는 퀴나크리돈(quinacridone) 또는 퀴나크리돈 유도체를 포함하는 유기 EL 소자용 조성물.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 첨가되는 형광색소의 양은 공역계 고분자 유기 화합물의 전구체의 고형분(solid component)에 대해 0.5 내지 10중량퍼센트(wt%)인 유기 EL 소자용 조성물.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 조성물은 그 조성물이 건조 또는 고형화되는 것을 방지하기 위한 윤활제(wetting agent)를 포함하는 유기 EL 소자용 조성물.
- 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 조성물의 토출을 위해 잉크젯 방법에 사용된 잉크젯장치의 헤드에 제공된 노즐표면을 형성하는 재료에 대한 접촉각은 30°내지 170°의 범위로 되는 유기 EL 소자용 조성물.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 유기 EL 소자용 조성물의 점도(viscosity)는 1cp 내지 20cp인 유기 EL 소자용 조성물.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 유기 EL 소자용 조성물의 표면장력은 20dyne/cm 내지 70dyne/cm인 유기 EL 소자용 조성물.
