Claims (6)
- 평행한 두 개의 기판이 프리트글라스에 의해 결합되고, 상기 기판중 일측기판에는 유지전극이 형성되며, 타측 기판에는 상기 유지전극과 수직으로 교차되는 어드레스전극이 형성되어 상기 전극간의 방전에 의해 하나의 화소를 이루는 플라즈마 표시패널 구조에 있어서,상기 유지전극은 좌우 두 개의 셀을 동시에 제어가능하도록 각 화소간의 경계부에 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시패널의 전극구조.상기 유지전극은 투명전극라인 및 금속전극라인으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시패널의 전극구조.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 유지전극은 투명전극라인 및 금속전극라인으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시패널의 전극구조.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 유지전극은 투명전극라인의 중앙부를 따라 금속전극이 위치하는 형상으로 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시패널의 전극구조.
- 모든 유지 전극을 복수 개로 그룹화하여 각기 해당되는 전극에 벽전하를 형성하는 제 1 단계와,상기 벽전하 형성후 원하지 않는 셀에 해당되는 두 유지 전극에 소거 펄스를 인가하여 벽전하를 소거하는 제 2 단계로 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시패널의 전극 구동방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 복수개로 그룹화된 전극에 동일 전압을 순차적으로 인가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시패널의 전극 구동방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 제 2 단계는 벽전하를 소거함과 아울러 각종 입력 신호에 따라 매 프레임마다 서브 필드의 순서에 따라 유지 전극라인을 선택하여 스캔 펄스를 공급하고 그 유지 전극라인에 대응하는 어드레스 펄스를 상기 스캔 신호와 동기화하여 어드레스 전극라인에 각각 공급하여 방전을 일으키는 제 A 단계와,상기 방전이 일어난 일부 셀의 방전 및 발광을 외부로부터 공급되는 서스테인 펄스 기간(서스테인 기간) 동안 유지되도록 하는 제 B 단계를 더 포함하여 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시패널의 전극 구동방법.
