Claims (22)
- 광원(1), 및상기 광원이 측면 옆에 설치된 투명판(3)을 포함하고,상기 투명판의 표면 또는 내부에는 투명판의 굴절률과 상이한 굴절률을 가진 층으로 채워진 다수의 홈(31)이 특정 간격으로 배치되어 있으며,상기 투명판(3)의 굴절률이 n이고, 슬릿인 홈을 채우는 층으로서의 재료의 굴절률은 n1이고, 상기 투명판의 각각의 슬릿 및 상부면에 의해 형성된 각도는 θ이고, 조명 시스템의 가시각이 β일 때θ<sin-1(n1/n)-sin-1{(1/n)sin(β)}의 조건을 만족하는 것을 특징으로 하는 조명 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 투명판(3)의 상부면 및 하부면은 서로 평행한 것을 특징으로 하는 조명 시스템.
- 광원(1),상기 광원이 측면 옆에 설치된 제1투명판(30), 및상기 제1판의 상부면에 설치된 제2투명판(6)을 포함하고,상기 제1판의 하부면은 그 표면이 평면이고, 다수의 단계적 경사(131)가 제1판의 상부면에서 특정 간격으로 배치되어 있고,제2판의 하부면에서, 제1판의 상부면의 경사에 대해 동일한 구성이 되도록 단계적 경사가 배치되어 있으며,제1판의 상부면 및 제2판의 하부면이 특정 간격으로 설치되어 있으며,제1판의 굴절률이 n이고, 제1판 및 제2판을 서로 접착하는 층으로서의 재료의 굴절률은 n2이며, 제1판의 상부면 및 제2판의 하부면 각각의 경사 각도는 θ이며, 조명 시스템의 가시각이 β일 때,θ<sin-1(n2/n)-sin-1{(1/n)sin(β)}의 조건을 만족하는 것을 특징으로 하는 조명 시스템.
- 제3항에 있어서, 광원의 출력 출구에 설치된 콜리메이터(5)의 광 출사 각도는 ±sin-1[n×sin{90-θ-sin-1(n2/n)}] 내에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 조명 시스템.
- 광원(1),다수의 홈(4)이 광원의 길이 방향에 평행한 방향에서 특정 간격으로 광 가이드 부재(3)의 상부면(31)에 배치되고, 상부면의 일부를 구성하는 평평한 부분(43)이 인접한 홈들 사이에 배치되어 있는 광 가이드 부재(3)인 투명판을 포함하고,상기 광 가이드 부재의 하부면측상에 설치된 조사 대상물(5)이 광 가이드 부재의 상부면으로부터 관찰되는 것을 특징으로 하는 오버헤드 조사에 의한 조명 시스템.
- 제5항에 있어서, 광 가이드 부재(3)의 각각의 홈(4)은, 광원에 근접한 한 측면 상에 위치된 제1경사(41)와, 광원으로부터 멀리 있는 나머지 측면 상에 위치된 제2경사(42)를 갖는 V자 형상의 홈이고,광 가이드 부재의 전반사 각도가 θc이고, 광 가이드 부재의 하부면(32) 및 평평한 부분에 의해 형성된 각도가 θ3일 때, 광 가이드 부재의 하부면 및 제1경사에 의해 형성된 각도 θ1은 θ1≤90°-θc+2θ3의 범위 내에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 오버헤드 조사에 의한 조명 시스템.
- 제5항에 있어서,광 가이드 부재(3)의 각각의 홈(4)은, 광원에 근접한 한 측면 상에 위치된 제1경사(41) 및 광원으로부터 멀리 있는 나머지 측면 상에 위치된 제2경사(42)를 갖는 V자 형상의 홈이고,광 가이드 부재의 굴절률이 n이고, 광 가이드 부재의 하부면(32) 및 평평한 부분에 의해 형성된 각도가 θ3이며, 광 가이드 부재의 하부면의 수직선과 관찰자(6)의 방향에 의해 형성된 각도가 β일 때, 광 가이드 부재의 하부면 및 제1경사에 의해 형성된 각도 θ1은θ1≒45+θ3-(1/2)sin-1(1/n×sinβ)의 조건을 만족하는 것을 특징으로 하는 오버헤드 조사에 의한 조명 시스템.
- 제5항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 광 가이드 부재(3)의 각각의 홈(4)은, 광원에 근접한 한 측면 상에 위치된 제1경사(41) 및 광원으로부터 멀리 있는 나머지 측면 상에 위치된 제2경사(42)를 갖는 V자 형상의 홈이고,상기 광 가이드 부재의 굴절률이 n일 때, 광 가이드 부재의 하부면 및 제2경사에 의해 형성된 각도 θ2는 θ2≤(1/2)sin-1(1/n)을 만족하는 것을 특징으로 하는 오버헤드 조사에 의한 조명 시스템.
- 제5항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 광 가이드 부재에서 홈 피치(p)는, 조명 대상물의 도트 피치 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 오버헤드 조사에 의한 조명 시스템.
- 제5항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 광 가이드 부재(3)의 각각의 홈(4)은, 광원에 근접한 한 측면 상에 위치된 제1경사(41) 및 광원으로부터 멀리 있는 나머지 측면 상에 위치된 제2경사(42)를 갖는 V자 형상의 홈이고,광 가이드 부재의 상부면 및 조사 대상물을 관찰하는 관찰자(6)간의 거리가L 일 때, 광 가이드 부재에서 제1경사의 길이는 {L×(0.5/60)×π/180} 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 오버헤드 조사에 의한 조명 시스템.
- 제5항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 광 가이드 부재의 상부면상에는 투명 프리즘 시트(7)가 설치되고, 상기 상부면에 대해 각도 θ4의 경사를 가진 다수의 돌출부(73)를 단면 형태와 관련해서 갖는 프리즘 시트가 하부면상에 배열되어서, 하부면에 대체로 평행한 평평한 부분(74)이 그 사이에 삽입되는 것을 특징으로 하는 오버헤드 조사에 의한 조명 시스템.
- 제11항에 있어서, 광 가이드 부재의 상부면과 조사 대상물을 관찰하는 관찰자(6)간의 거리가 L일 때, 상기 프리즘 시트의 경사 길이는 {L×(0.5/60)×π/180} 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 오버헤드 조사에 의한 조명 시스템.
- 광원, 및상기 광원으로부터 측면을 통해 광을 얻고, 반사 방지 처리와 확산 처리 중 적어도 하나의 처리가 수행되는 하부면을 통해 조명광을 투사시키는 투명판을 포함하고,상기 투명판의 하부면측에 배치되는 조명 대상물이 투명판의 상부면측으로부터 관찰되는 것을 특징으로 하는 조명 시스템.
- 제1항에 따른 조명 시스템에서, 광원으로부터 측면 표면을 통해 광을 얻고, 반사 방지 처리와 확산 처리 중 적어도 하나의 처리가 수행되는 하부면을 통해 조명광을 투사하는 투명판, 및반사 방지 처리와 확산 처리 중 적어도 하나를 통해 처리된 적어도 하나의 기판의 표면을 갖는 반사형 액정 패널을 포함하고,반사 방지 처리와 확산 처리 중 적어도 하나를 통해 처리된 액정 패널의 기판 표면이 투명판의 하부면에 대면하도록 배열되어서, 반사형 액정 패널이 투명판의 상부면측으로부터 관찰되는 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 따른 조명 시스템에서, 광원으로부터 측면 표면을 통해 광을 얻고, 반사 방지 처리와 확산 처리 중 적어도 하나의 처리가 수행되는 하부면을 통해 조명광을 투사하는 투명판,반사 방지 처리 또는 확산 처리 중 적어도 어느 하나를 통해 처리된 적어도 하나의 기판의 표면을 갖는 반사형 액정 패널, 및확산 처리를 통해 처리된 표면을 갖는 터치 패널을 포함하고,반사 방지 처리 또는 확산 처리 중 적어도 어느 하나를 통해 처리된 액정 패널의 기판 표면이 투명판의 하부면에 대면하도록 배열되고, 동시에 터치 패널이 투명판의 상부면에 대면하도록 배치되어서, 반사형 액정 패널이 투명판의 상부면측으로부터 관찰되는 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 액정 표시 장치.
- 제14항 및 제15항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 반사형 액정 패널의 기판 표면, 투명판의 하부면, 또는 터치 패널의 표면에 구성되는 확산 처리의 헤이즈(haze) 값을 20% 보다 크지 않도록 설정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 액정 표시 장치.
- 제14항 내지 제15항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 투명판 재료의 굴절률 및 반사형 액정 패널 기판의 굴절률과 대략 동일한 굴절률을 갖는 투명 재료 또는 재료 시트(sheet)가 투명판의 하부면 및 반사형 액정 패널 사이에 삽입되는 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항 따른 조명 시스템에서, 광원으로부터 측면 표면을 통해 광을 얻고, 하부면으로부터 조명광을 투사하는 투명판, 및한 방향에서는 확산 특성을 가지고 다른 방향에서는 투명한 시계각 제어판이 상부면상에 배열되어 있는 반사형 액정 패널을 포함하고,상기 시계각 제어판이 배열되어 있는 반사형 액정 패널의 표면은 투명판의 하부면에 대면하도록 설정되고, 투명판의 하부면으로부터 투사된 조명 광의 각도가 시계각 제어판의 확산 방향과 거의 일치되어, 반사형 액정 패널이 투명판의 상부면측으로부터 관찰되는 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 액정 표시 장치.
- 제18항에 있어서, 상기 투명판과 시계각 제어판의 확산 방향의 출사 각도는,상기 반사형 액정 패널의 정상 방향에 대해 30-50°인 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광원은, 점 광원이 거의 동일 방향으로 방사되도록 일정한 간격을 경유해서 거의 직선 상에 배열되는 일군(一群)의 점 광원(801)이고,상기 조명 시스템은,개구부를 가지며 일군의 점 광원을 둘러싸기 위해 배치되는 반사경(802), 및반사경의 개구부에 설치된 확산판(805)을 더 포함하고,확산판이 일군의 점 광원으로부터 분리되어서, 확산판상에서 점 광원에 의한 조명 분포의 중심으로부터의 광의 양이 점 광원의 조명 분포의 중심들간의 광의 양과 거의 동일하게 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 조명 시스템.
- 제20항에 있어서, 상기 반사경은, 점 광원으로부터 확산판으로 방사된 광을 직접 통과시키지 않기 위해 L자 형상으로 된 것을 특징으로 하는 조명 시스템.
- 제20항에 있어서, 선형 광원의 반사경의 개구부에 배열된 확산판으로부터 방사된 후 측면으로부터 입사하는 광을, 하부면 또는 상부면에 형성된 홈에 의해 하부면측으로부터 출력하는 광 가이드 부재(803)를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 조명 시스템.
