Claims (5)
- 영상 기입 기간과 수직 공백 기간 동안 동작하는 액티브 매트릭스형 액정 표시 장치를 구동하기 위한 구동 회로에 있어서,LCD 장치의 게이트 라인들 중 대응하는 군에 각각 배치된 복수의 메모리셀을 구비하며, 상기 게이트 라인들 중 선택된 군에 대응하는 상기 메모리셀 각각에 제 1 데이터를 기억시키고, 상기 메모리셀들 중 나머지 군 각각에 반전된 제 1 데이터를 기억시키는 메모리 회로,상기 메모리셀들 중 대응하는 하나에 각각 배치되며, 상기 전송 소자를 따라서 상기 제 1 클럭 신호와 동기되는 제 2 클럭 신호 내의 클럭 펄스를 이동시키는 복수의 캐스케이드 전송 소자, 및상기 메모리셀 중 대응하는 하나에 각각 배치되어, 논리 연산 Mn *Sn *XBW+XMn *BW 에 따른 결과 신호를, 상기 게이트 라인들 중 대응하는 군에 각각 출력하는 복수의 논리 연산부를 포함한 게이트 라인 구동 회로를 구비하며,Mn, XMn, Sn, BW 및 XBW 는 상기 논리 연산부 각각에 대응하는 상기 메모리셀들 중 하나로부터의 상기 제 1 데이터, 반전된 제 1 데이터, 상기 논리 연산부 각각에 대응하는 상기 전송 소자들 중 하나의 출력, 상기 영상 기입 기간 또는 수직 공백 기간에 따른 논리값을 갖는 제어 신호 및 반전된 제어 신호를 각각 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 매트릭스형 액정 표시 장치를 구동하기 위한 구동 회로.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 게이트 라인 구동 회로는 상기 메모리셀 중 대응하는 하나에 각각 배치되어, 상기 결과 신호를 상기 게이트 라인의 상기 군에 포함된 복수의 게이트 라인에 대응하는 복수의 펄스로 분할하는 복수의 디코드부를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 구동 회로.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 게이트 라인의 상기 군이 단일 게이트 라인을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 구동 회로.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 클럭 신호는 상기 제 2 클럭 신호의 주파수 및 위상과 동일한 주파수 및 위상을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 구동 회로.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 데이터를 기억시키는 상기 메모리셀에 대응하는 상기 논리 연산부로부터의 출력은, 영상 기입 기간 동안에 순차적으로 전달되며, 상기 반전된 제 1 데이터를 기억시키는 상기 메모리셀에 대응하는 상기 논리 연산부로부터의 출력은 동시에 전달되는 것을 특징으로 하는 구동 회로.
