Claims (3)
- 서스테인펄스의 주기마다 계조에 따라 2n간격으로 이격된 다수의 주사라인 들을 선택하여 데이터를 기입하고, 데이터 기입으로 선택된 셀들을 다음 데이터가 기입될 때까지 상기 서스테인펄스에 의해 유지되게 하는 서브프레임 구동방법에 있어서, 상기 서스테인펄스의 주기마다 상기 서스테인펄스에 소거펄스를 가산하여 공급함으로써 상기 다수개 주사라인들에서 동시에 소거방전을 일으키는 단계와, 상기 서스테인펄스에 라이팅펄스를 가산하여 공급함으로써 상기 다수개의 주사라인들에서 약간의 벽전하 형성을 위한 예비방전을 동시에 일으키는 단계와, 상기 서스테인펄스에 주사펄스를 가산하여 공급함과 아울러 해당 데이터펄스를 공급함으로써 상기 다수개의 주사라인들에서 상기 해당 데이터펄스에 따른 선택적인 라이팅 방전을 일으켜 상기 데이터를 기입하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널 구동방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 소거방전을 위한 소거펄스는 상기 예비방전을 위한 라이팅펄스의 폭보다 작게 설정된 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널 구동방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 소거펄스의 전압이 상기 라이팅펄스의 전압보다 높게 설정된 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널 구동방법.
