Claims (8)
- 평균입경이 5×10-3내지 1×10-1㎛이고 비표면적이 50 내지 400㎡/g인 열분해 실리카(pyrogenic silica)와,열분해 실리카의 응집체(agglomerate)로서 평균입경이 2 내지 15㎛이고, 상기 열분해 실리카보다 비표면적이 작은 열처리 실리카(heat-treated silica)를 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 실리카 글래스 조성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 열분해 실리카와 열처리 실리카의 혼합중량비가 1:10 내지 1:1인 것을 특징으로 하는 실리카 글래스 조성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 광섬유 튜브 제조시 이용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 실리카 글래스 조성물.
- 평균입경이 5×10-3내지 1×10-1㎛, 비표면적이 50 내지 400㎡/g인 열분해 실리카(pyrogenic silica)와, 열분해 실리카의 응집체(agglomerate)로서 평균입경이 2 내지 15㎛이고, 상기 열분해 실리카보다 비표면적이 작은 열처리 실리카의 혼합물을 분산매(dispersion medium)와 혼합하여 졸을 형성하는 단계;상기 졸을 숙성시키는 단계;숙성시킨 졸내의 기포를 제거한 다음, 겔화하여 겔을 형성하는 단계; 및상기 겔을 건조한 다음, 열처리하는 단계;를 포함하는 실리카 글래스의 제조방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 열분해 실리카와 열처리 실리카의 혼합중량비가 1:10 내지 1:1인 것을 특징으로 하는 실리카 글래스의 제조방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 열처리 실리카는 (a) 열분해 실리카에 탈이온수(deionized water)를 부가하여 혼합하는 단계;(b) 상기 혼합물을 건조한 다음, 소정입경 범위내의 입자만을 선별하는 단계; 및(c) 상기 결과물을 500 내지 1200℃에서 열처리하는 단계;를 거쳐 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 실리카 글래스의 제조방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 열분해 실리카와 탈이온수의 혼합중량비는 1:1 내지 1 :5인 것을 특징으로 하는 실리카 글래스의 제조방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 (b)단계에서, 입자의 입경이 10 내지 850㎛인 것을 특징으로 하는 실리카 글래스의 제조방법.
