Claims (19)
- 기재(20)를 덮기 위한 방법에 있어서, 상기 기재(20)상에 복원성 탄성중합체성 슬리브 수단(10,12,12')과 맨드릴 수단(42)을 구비하는 조립체를 배치하는 단계로서, 장력의 해제시 슬리브 수단(10,12,12')이 보다 작은 단면 치수를 취하여 상기 기재를 밀폐 및 보호할 수 있도록 상기 슬리브수단(10,12,12')을 장력하에서 상기 맨드릴 수단상에 팽창상태로 장착되고, 상기 맨드릴 수단(42)은 관형상이고, 반경방향 외향으로 연장되는 일련의 이격진 종방향 돌출부(44)를 구비하며, 상기 슬리브수단(10,12,12')은 상기 종방향 돌출부(44)와 접촉하고 있는 상기 배치단계와, 슬리브수단(10,12,12')이 기재(20)상의 적소에 유지되는 동안 상기 맨드릴 수단(42)을 상기 슬리브수단(10,12,12')으로부터 종방향으로 미끄럼 이동시킴으로써 상기 맨드릴 수단(42)을 상기 슬리브수단(10,12,12')으로부터 인출하는 단계로서, 상기 맨드릴 수단이(42)이 점차적으로 인출될 때 상기 슬리브수단(10,12,12')이 보다 작은 단면 치수를 점차 취하여 상기 기재(20)를 밀폐하게 되는 상기 인출단계를 포함하는 기재를 덮는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 조립체를 기재(20)상에 배치하는 상기 단계는 상기 조립체를 준비된 고전압 종단부(28)위에 배치하는 것을 포함하는 기재를 덮는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 슬리브수단(10,12,12')에는 복수개의 이격지고 일체로 형성된 내후성 쉐드(14)가 형성되어 있는 기재를 덮는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 맨드릴 수단(42)은 대체로 환상의 횡방향 인열선(50)을 갖는 맨드릴을 규정하고, 상기 인열선(50)은 상기 맨드릴(42)에 굽힘력이 가해졌을 때 그것을 2 개의 관형 세그먼트로 분할하기 위한 것이며, 상기 맨드릴 수단 인출단계는 상기 맨드릴(42)을 절곡시켜서 그것을 2 개의 관형 세그먼트로 분할하고 각 세그먼트를 인출함으로써 상기 슬리브의 중간부분이 먼저 보다 작은 단면치수를 점차 취할 수 있게 하는 단계를 포함하는 기재를 덮는 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 조립체 기재(20)위에 배치하는 상기 단계는 상기 조립체를 고전압 케이블 접속부위에 배치하는 단계를 포함하는 기재를 덮는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 맨드릴 수단(42)은 상기 종방향 돌출부(44)들 사이에 배치되는 윤활제를 구비하고, 조립체를 기재위에 배치하는 상기 단계는 상기슬리브수단(10,12,12')을 상기 상기 맨드릴 수단(42) 둘레로 비틀어서 상기 윤활제가 상기 슬리브수단(10,12,12')의 내측표면과 상기 돌출부 사이로 흐를 수 있도록 하는 예비적 단계를 포함하는 기재를 덮는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 슬리브수단(10,12,12')은 그것을 상기 맨드릴 수단(42)상에 장착 하였을 때 상기 슬리브 수단(10,12,12')의 몸체를 향하여 후방으로 절첩되는 연속성 말단 세그먼트(13,15)를 구비하며, 슬리브 수단(10,12,12')으로부터 맨드릴 수단(42)을 인출하는 상기 단계는 상기 슬리브 수단(10,12,12')을 상기 기재의 중앙 세그먼트상에서 복원시킬 수 있고, 상기 덮는 방법은 상기 슬리브 수단(10,12,12')의 말단 세그먼트(13,15)를 펼침으로써 상기 기재의 인접 말단 세그먼트(13,15)를 덮게 하는 단계를 더 포함하는 기재를 덮는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 맨드릴 수단은 적어도 하나의 종방향 분리선(48)을 구비하고, 상기 덮는 방법은 상기 맨드릴을 상기 분리선 수단(48)을 따라 분리시키는 단계를 더 포함하는 기재를 덮는 방법.
- 기재(20)를 덮기 위한 복원성 탄성중합체성 슬리브 수단(10,12,12')과 맨드릴 수단(42)을 구비하는 조립체로서, 해제시 상기 슬리브 수단(10,12,12')이 보다 작은 단면치수를 취하여 상기 기재(20)를 밀폐하도록 상기 슬리브 수단(10,12,12')을 팽창상태로 상기 맨드릴 수단(42)위에 장착하고, 상기 맨드릴 수단(42)은 관형상을 가지며, 그것으로부터 반경방향 외향으로 연장되는 일련의 이격진 종방향 돌출부(44)를 구비하고, 상기 슬리브 수단(10,12,12')은 상기 종방향 돌출부(44)와 접촉하고 있는 기재를 덮는 조립체.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 종방향 돌출부(44)는 상기 맨드릴 수단의 관형상 외측 표면(46)으로부터 반경방향 외향으로 연장되는 리브를 포함하고, 상기 슬리브 수단(10,12,12')은 상기 리브와 접촉하고 있는 기재를 덮는 조립체.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 리브(44) 사이의 관형상 외측 표면(36)에 형성된 일련의 종방향 골(48)과, 상기 슬리브 수단을 상기 맨드릴 수단에 대해 윤활시키기 위하여 상기 골(48) 내에 수납되는 슬리브 윤활수단을 더 포함하는 기재를 덮는 조립체.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 윤활수단은 실리콘계 또는 플루오로실리콘계 윤활제를 포함하는 기재를 덮는 조립체.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 맨드릴 수단(42)내에 형성되 횡방향 절개선(50)을 더 포함하여, 상디 맨드릴 수단(42)이 상기 절개선(50)을 따라 2 개의 세그먼트로 분할될 수 있게 하로써 상기 슬리브 수단(10,12,12')의 해제 및 복원을 촉진하여 상기 기재(20)를 밀폐시킬수 있게 된 기재를 덮는 조립체.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 기재(20)는 케이블 접속부(40)인 기재를 덮는 조립체.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 기재(20)는 케이블 종단부(28)인 기재를 덮는 조립체.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 슬리브 수단(10,12,12')은 고전압 종단부(28)용이고, 그것의 일부로서 일체적으로 형성된 복수개의 내후성 쉐드를 포함하는 기재를 덮는 조립체.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 슬리브 수단(10,12,12')은 응력 제어물질로 이루어진 내측층을 갖는 기재를 덮는 조립체.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 맨드릴 수단(42)은 적어도 하나의 종방향 분리선 수단을 구비하여, 상기 맨드릴 수단(42)을 상기 분리선 수단을 따라 종방향으로 분할할 수 있게 된 기재를 덮는 조립체.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 슬리브 수단(10,12,12')은 그것이 상기 맨드릴 수단(42)상에서 팽창상태로 장착되어 있으면서, 상기 슬리브 수단(10,12,12')의 인접 외측벽 세그먼트를 향하여 후방으로 절첩되는 연속성 말단 세그먼트(13,15)를 구비하고, 상기 말단 세그먼트(13,15)는 상기 슬리브 수단(10,12,12')을 상기 기재(20)상에서 상기 맨드릴 수단(42)으로부터 해제한 후에 펼쳐져서 상기 기재의 대응 인접 말단 세그먼트를 덮는 기재를 덮는 조립체.
