Abstract
PURPOSE:To form an oxide superconductor thin film with excellent superconductive characteristic on a plastic film by forming the oxide superconductor thin film via a similar intermediate layer then firing it while cooling the plastic film. CONSTITUTION:An oxide superconductor thin film is formed on a plastic film 4, then the oxide superconductor thin film is fired by a heater 8 while the plastic film 4 is cooled, thus the firing in the atmosphere containing oxygen can be performed at a sufficiently high temperature. If the oxide superconductor thin film is formed on the plastic film 4 via an intermediate layer with the lattice constant and/or thermal expansion coefficient similar to that of the oxide superconductor thin film, no lattice distortion is generated when a ceramic thin film is grown on the plastic film 4. The oxide superconductor thin film with excellent superconductive characteristic can be thereby formed on the plastic film.
