Abstract
PURPOSE:To leave a region not radiated with laser rays as the superconductive ceramic by forming a superconducting material on a substrate, selectively radiate laser rays or strong rays equivalent to them to the preset region of the material, and quickly cooling and transforming it into a non-superconducting material. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 1 with the final shape is provided, the crystallizing heat treatment is applied to this substrate 1, then a material with the rhombic perovskite structure and superconducting characteristic is formed into a film. The heat treatment is applied to this film to form the superconducting ceramic 2 on the whole surface, then this film 2 is selectively radiated with laser 4 and quickly cooled, thus only the radiated portion is formed into the tetragonal or amorphous structure. A region 3 having the non-superconducting characteristic in the optional line, band, or face shape is introduced on the surface region by optionally scanning laser rays 4. A ceramic superconductor 5 can be thereby left selectively on the substrate 1 in the coil shape or other shapes.
