PURPOSE:To obtain a superconductive fine wire with stable and high superconductivity transition temperature by depositing a film made of oxide of Y and lanthanoide series element and carbonate or oxide of IIa group elements on a Cu substrate. CONSTITUTION:A film 2 made of oxide of Y and lanthanide series elements and carbonate or oxide of IIa group elements is deposited on a Cu substrate 1, the film 2 is linearly processed and heat-treated, and a Cu substrate 1 is cut out. An oxide high-temperature superconductor with the uniform composition is obtained by the later heat treatment, and the superconductivity transition temperature is shifted higher for the whole fine wire 4. Since the oxide high- temperature superconductor is formed on the boundary between the Cu substrate and the composite film made of the oxide of Y and lanthanoide series elements and the oxide of IIa group elements, it is protected, and the stable characteristic can be obtained.
