Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain stable characteristics against changes of environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity, by selecting a specified material as an interlayer. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic sensitive body is formed by successively laminating on a conductive supporting body 1 a photoconductive layer 2, the interlayer 3 obtained by hydrolyzing a compound of the formula: RSi(OR')3, R being a organic group having an epoxy group, and R' being 1-8 C alkyl group, and a low-resistance protective layer 4, thus permitting high image quality to be stably retained against even under high temperature and high humidity and the obtained electrophotographic sensitive body to be superior in durability.
