接着剤を置き、両端を当接接合し、ストランドの一定の
太さを維持せしめると共に接着剤が端部の繊維内にしみ
込むように当接接合部をローラーがけし、かくして改良
された接合部を生成せしめることを特徴とする可撓性ス
トランドの接合方法。 2、ヤーン端部に熱溶融したポリアミド接着剤を置き、
ヤーン端を相互に当接接合し、当接部をローラーがけし
てヤーンの太さを一定に維持すると共に接着剤がヤーン
の繊維内にしみ込むようにし、かくして、改良されたヤ
ーン接合部を生ぜしめる特許請求の範囲第1項記載の方
法。 3、熱可塑性接着剤がポリアミド樹脂である特許請求の
範囲第1項記載の方法。 4、ストランド端を案内し保持するための案内および把
持手段、端部を相互に合致させるための切断手段、端部
に熱溶融接着剤の所定量を施与する手段、接着剤がスト
ランド端部の繊維内にしみ込むように両端を相互に当接
すべく動かすための手段およびストランドに明白な変り
目のない接合部を生ぜしめるべく直径を均一化するため
に接合部をローラーがけするための手段を設けたことを
特徴とする可撓性繊維ストランドの端を接合する装置。 5、各部材を、接着剤としてのポリアミド樹脂の貯蔵容
器を支持またはそれに連結された手で持つことができる
ように組み立てた特許請求の範囲第4項記載の装置。 6、案内および把持手段は装着部材を相互に対し滑動し
