Abstract

PURPOSE:To intensively express the effects of an acute angle and ruggedness to an embossed pattern substrate, by applying undercoat paint onto the entire embossed surface of the embossed pattern substrate, and then further applying paint onto embossed protuberant parts only. CONSTITUTION:High-viscosity paint 2 having a solid part in an amount of 50- 90% and viscosity of 30-300PS free from coarse aggregates of 0.3mm. or more in size is applied as an undercoat onto the entire embossed surface of an embossed pattern substrate 1 by a direct roll coater. Then, the same high-viscosity paint 2 is built-up applied onto only protruberant parts in the embossed pattern by a direct or reverse roll coater. The embossed top parts after being temporally dried under this condition or without being dried is made flat by a roll press or the like and then dried. Thereafter, flat paint 3 is uniformly applied as a finish coat to obtain a product.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention involves applying a high viscosity paint to the entire surface of the uneven parts of various embossed pattern base materials using a roll caulk, and then applying the same high viscosity paint only to the convex parts. The present invention relates to a method for enhancing the design by adding a strong unevenness to an embossed pattern base material.

Conventionally, embossed patterned decorative boards have simply been made by uniformly applying flat paint to an embossed patterned substrate. The decorative board produced in this manner had a monotonous embossed pattern with sharp edges, a solid texture, and an uneven texture. Furthermore, if only the base material is embossed, there is a limit to the sharpness of the embossing due to the performance of the base material.

As for the coating conditions at this time, the material of the coating roll should be neoprene rubber, butyl rubber, nitrile rubber, etc., and the rubber hardness is generally 10° to 50°, preferably 10° to 50°, as measured by a JK S sprink type hardness tester type A. is 20°~4
The distance between the coating roll and the backup roll during painting is the embossed pattern shown in Figure 1 A. Same width as valley depth 2-3
χ is set to a small value, and the amount of paint applied is 0.1 to 0.1 in the dry state.
0,'8 kV/nf, preferably 02-0.4
Apply kg/yol and use it as a base coat. In this state, it may be dried once and then moved to the next step, or it may be moved to the next step without drying. In the next step, as shown in Fig. 3, high viscosity paint 2 is applied mainly to the convex portions of the base material 1 with the embossed pattern using Girectroll Cocoo or River 70-Le Cocoo.
Paint. The coating conditions at this time are that the material of the coating roll is neoprene rubber, butyl rubber, nitrile rubber, etc., and the rubber is 93 degrees U. The value measured by J Engineering S Knupling hardness tester A type is 10 degrees to 90 degrees, preferably 2.
The angle is 0° to 60°, and the condition is either foamed rubber or non-foamed rubber with flat wash or grooves cut in. The spacing between the coating roll and backup roll during painting is embossed as shown in Figure 1. Select the same height as the peak height of the pattern or within ±2χ of it, and the amount of paint to be applied is o, i to o, skq/n? , preferably 0°2~o, 4hg7ri. In this state, you can dry it once and apply a finishing coat of clay flat paint 3 of 30PS or less using air spray, or you can roll out the minute irregularities formed on the peaks of the embossed pattern without drying. As shown in Figure 4, a convex top is formed on a flat surface using a presser or sheet pressing method, and then dried to form a 30P
A final coat of flat paint 3 having a viscosity of S or less is applied uniformly using an air spray or the like to form a product.

Embossed pattern decorative board A shown in FIG. 5 made according to the present invention
Compared to the embossed pattern decorative board B coated with only the flat paint 3 shown in Fig. 6 by the conventional method, the depth from the peaks to the valleys of the embossed pattern decorative board is much larger, and the depth from the valleys is much larger. The change in the peaks or the area from the peaks to the valleys becomes sharp, and the viscosity of high viscosity paints is another property - the value of the Tigisotropisok index shown in J Engineering 5K-6838, 2. In the range of .0 to 8.0, a new change in sensation is imparted, such as the formation of new unevenness due to microscopic roving even in the troughs.
