本発明は、ロールコーク−を用いて、各種エンボス模様
基材に高粘度塗料を凹凸部全面に塗装し、次いで、同一
状高粘度塗料を凸部のみに塗装し、鋭角前、凹凸感をよ
シ強くエンボス模様基材に付加させ、意匠性を高める方

ボス化だけでは基相物性能面との兼ね合い上、エンボス

のコーティングロールとバックアップロールの間隔は第
1図のイに示すエンボス模様の谷部深さと同じ巾2〜3
χと小さく設定し、塗料の塗布量は乾燥状態で0.1〜
0、 ’8 kV / nf、望ましくは02〜0.4
kg/yノl塗布し、下地塗装とする。この状態で一度
乾燥して次の工程に移っても、乾燥せずに次の工程に移
っても良い。次の工程では、第3図に示す如く主にエン
ボス模様の基材lの凸部に高粘度塗料2をグイレクトロ
ールコークー又はリバー70−ルコークーで肉イー・]
け塗装する。この時の塗装条件としては、コーティング
ロールの材質としてネオプレンゴム、ブチルゴム、ニト
リルゴム等とし、ゴム93 度u J工Sヌプリング式
硬度試験機A型での値で10°〜90°、望ましくは2
0°〜60°とし、状態としては発泡ゴム又は無発泡ゴ
ムの平濯又ノは溝の切シ込んだもののいずれかとし、塗
装時のコーティングロールとバックアップロールの間隔
は第1図に示すエンボス模様の山部高さ口と同じか、そ
れに対し±2χの範囲で選択し、塗料の塗布量は、乾燥
状態で山部面積でo、i〜o、skq/n?、望ましく
は0゜2〜o、4hg7ri塗装する。この状態で一度
乾燥して30PS以下の粘土のフラットペイント3を均
一にエヤースプレー等で仕上塗装しても良いし、乾燥せ
ずにさらにエンボス模様の山部に形成された微少なる凹
凸ハをロール押え又はシート押え方法等で第4図に示す
通り、凸頂部を平担面に形成し、その後乾燥して30P
S以下の粘度のフラットペイント3を均一にエヤースプ

部位の変化が鋭くなること、さらにまた高粘度塗料のも
つ別の性質の粘性−J工5K−6838によシ示すチギ
ソトロピソクインデックスの値で、2.0〜8.0の範
囲にあるもの−によシ谷部にも微小のロービングによる
凹凸を新たに形成すること等、新たな感覚の変化が付与

」のスタッコ調エンボス模様基材に高粘度塗料として表
1に示す配合の塗料を、ネオプレン製のスボンヂゴムー
ゴムHMJ工SADで20°のもの−をコーティングロ
ールとするダイレクトロールコ−タ−

を全面に塗装しエンボッ模様復層化粧板とした。以上に

以上の如く、本発明の方法を採用すれば、従来のエンボ
ス模様基材をそのまま下地基材として用いても経済的に
も意匠的にもすぐれた化粧板を作ることが出来るために
窯業系サイディングメーカー、金属系サイディングメー
カー、塗装委託加工メーカーにおいて採用すれば、その
効果を最も発揮させることが出来る等、幾多の秀れた特
