Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a toner from sticking to a stylus electrode and form easily a developer layer to perform a good recording, by using a dielectric film, where minute conductive fiber pieces pierce and are arranged independently of one another and are buried, as a recording material. CONSTITUTION:Many minute conductive fiber pieces 7 are buried in a dielectric film 6 used as a recording material so that they pierce this dielectric film 6, and both faces of the dielectric film 6 are smooth. A charged toner 11 is supplied to the other face while bringing a conductive roller 9, to which a bias voltage is applied, as a conductive member into contact with one face of the dielectric film 6 to form a developer layer 12 uniformly on the other face of the dielectric film 6. Since the toner 11 is stuck through charged minute conductive fiber pieces 7 in this manner, a stylus electrode is not brought into contact with the developer layer directly, and thus, a good recording is performed.
