Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of detected current and to reduce voltage loss by applying the total voltage of the voltage between the emmiter and collector of other transistor and the voltage of current detecting resistance to a current detecting transistor. CONSTITUTION:Constant currents I2, I1 are set up for the emittor areas of transistors Q15, Q16 so that the emittor current density of the transistors Q15, Q16 are almost equal. Since the transistor Q16 is turned off and the collector current does not flow under current to be detected I>=R18I2/R101, the attracting current of constant current I1 can be obtained to an output terminal OUT. On the other hand, when the transistor is turned on and the collector current becomes equal to the constant current I1 under L<=R18I1/R101, the current of output terminal OUT is turned to zero and it can be detected that current of I= R18I1/R101 or more flows. Thus, the voltage between the base and emittor of transistors is offset each other and temperature is compensated, thereby detecting current accurately.
