Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize the reproducibility of a desired color in a simple way through an exchange of a developing means, by providing the developing means which is exchangeably supported and an electrostatic latent image formation related member which is supported exchangeably and connected to the developing means. CONSTITUTION:A developing device 4 having a toner supply hopper 5 develops a latent image on a drum 1. The toner which received a cleaning process is stored at waste toner storing parts 9 and 22. The part 9, the developer 4 and a photosensitive drum 1 are are unified into a body and are attached and detached more easily than a copying machine itself. Otherwise a unit of a combination of only a developer and a filter or a unit of a charger and a developer can be detached. In such way, a desired color is reproduced in a simple way by replacing the developing means.
