Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a metal cleaner which comprises essentially condensated ammonium phosphate of specific degrees of condensation, consists in contg. urea or its transformed component as an adjuvant and which has superior cleaning effect and is superior in terms of toxicity, stability, and pollution-free characteristic.
CONSTITUTION: This is a metal cleaner which consists in contg. condensated ammonium phosphate of 3W150 degrees of condensation as an essential component of the cleaner and urea or an urea transformed component such as biuret or triuret as an adjuvant, wherein the composition of said components is 2:1W10:1 based on weight in the ratio between condensated ammonium phosphate and urea or its transformed component, and the respective components are dissolved in water at 1W50wt% concentrations in total based on the weight of water. This cleaner is desirably used in a room temp. W90°C range, and is adaptable to the metals to be treated, such as Al, copper, zinc and alloys. It is extremely low in toxicity, is easy to handle in work and is safe.
