Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance the effects of a fluororesin in a paste containing the fluororesin and to prolong the life of the paste by imposing restrictions on the kneading time as well as on the ratio of water to sulfuric acid which is to be kneaded with lead powder. CONSTITUTION:When a paste whose main component is a dispersion consisting of lead powder, water, sulfuric acid and the fluororesin is put into a practical use, the ratio of water to sulfuric acid that is used for 1kg of lead powder is restricted to the range enclosed by and including the lines formed by connecting the points A, B, C, D, G and E in the figure; the total amount of water and sulfuric acid is calculated as 100%. Furthermore, the kmeading time also is restricted to be 15-120min. The paste thus prepared is applied to a collector. It is preferred to take the kneading time of 30-60min if the ratio of water to the former sulfuric acid ranges below the line H-D in the figure, and to take 15-45min. if the ratio of water to the former sulfuric acid ranges above the line H-D.
