CONSTITUTION:When a jet action is suspended for a long time, a three-way solenoid valve 3 is made communicative with B-C, and an electric current is turned on to a solenoid 19 for an ink suction mechanism 9. Then a plunger 21 is caused to move in an arrow direction A. Then the volume of a liquid chamber 23 becomes large, generating a negative pressure, so that the ink the liquid chamber 10 of an ink jet head 4 is sucked. Following this procedure, a ball valve 18 inside a valve chamber 14 descends and the anticoagulation agent flows into the chamber 10, replacing the ink. When operation is resumed, a jet injection is performed for a few seconds, purging the said agent. In this way, the complete replacement of the agent with the ink inside the liquid chamber 10 takes place.
