Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate combustion noise by forming layered flames while improving fuel-air mixing by feeding secondary air parallel to the combustion flames from the central part of the area where combustion flames are formed.
CONSTITUTION: As fuel drops onto the outer peripheral surface of cone 1 from fuel supply pipe 2, fuel is forced to move toward the larger-diameter side by rotation of cone 1 and atomized outwardly and gasified at the outer peripheral end of shake- off plate 4 positioned at the greatest diameter portion and is mixed with primary air b to form an inflammable gas d. The gas flows through opening 12a in commutating plate 12, hollow 8d in burner head body 8, hole 11a in pressure equalizing plate 11 and opening in resisting plate 10 and is ejected from holes 9a and smaller holes 9b in flame plate 9. On the other hand, the remaining portion of air c passes through opening 16 provided in the wall of air channel 15, secondary air hole 14 and secondary air conduit 8b and is ejected from secondary air spout 8a. Under this condition, ignition is effected by ignitor means 22 adjacent to the flame holes 9a or smaller flame holes 9b to perform blue flame combustion.
