Abstract

PURPOSE: To supply secondary air sufficiently to inner flame holes and to prevent flame holes from being clogged by boiling over of soup or the like, by forming inner flame holes between secondary air holes and main flame holes of a burner for a gas range or the like, and forming secondary air supplying portions between main flame holes.

CONSTITUTION: When a cock 2 of a range 1 is turned, gas is ejected from a nozzle 3 into a mixing pipe 4, and mixture of gas and primary air formed in the mixing pipe 4 is then carried into a mixing chamber 7 defined by a burner head 5 and a burner cap 6. Mixture in the chamber 7 is ejected to the outside from main flame holes 8 and inner flame holes 10 and burned while forming main flames 9 and inner flames 11. Here, supply of secondary air to the inner flames 11 is accomplished by guiding a portion of secondary air flow 16 through secondary air ports 12 which extend through the burner head 5 and burner cap 6 and are formed in the manner that they are isolated from the mixing chamber 7. In the above arrangement, the distance 16' between adjacent main flame holes 8 in the vicinity of the inner flame hole 10 is made larger than those 17 at the remaining portions by providing a region where no flame hole is formed.
