Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide stable high lift pumping of a low level of water, by using a flat type air feed pipe.
CONSTITUTION: A pumping pipe 16 erected in a liquid tank 10 is equipped with a mixing unit 14 at its lower end and a discharge unit 15 at the upper end. A flat pipe 11 is immersed under the tank 10 and an air nozzle 12 is fitted to its flat surface being opposed to the mixing unit 14 for feeding air into the mixing unit. The use of the flat pipe 11 can lower the water level H'--H, increase the area of water passage and operate the pump even if the air feed pressure is as low as the discharge pressure of a blower at the time of starting when the maximum air pressure is required, which guarantees high lift pumping for a low level of water.
