Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent overflow of kerosene in an inside tank when an outside tank is placed above in an oil supply device, placed inside a kerosene burning device etc., where kerosene is automatically drawn up and simultaneously a fixed height of oil surface is formed.
CONSTITUTION: An oil supply device 6, for example, employed in an air heater 1 that uses kerosene as fuel, draws up kerosene from an outside tank 10 through an absorption pipe 7 and supplies fuel into a burner 2 through an oil supply pipe 8. When a pump 15 is operated by a terminal 39, kerosene is discharged into an inside tank 11 through a discharge port 16 and a supply port 12, and part of kerosene in the tank 11 is returned to the suction port 17 through a return port 14 and a channel 18. When the oil level lowers, a float 19 is lowered to tighten the return port 14 by a valve 23. Then, the pressure at the suction port 17 side lowers, and a diaphragm 27 lowers to open the valve 25 to suck kerosene in the outside tank 10.
