Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the desulfurization and denitrification cost by dividing the air- intake system of DL sintering machine into the front part and rear part and then by recycling the exhaust gas from the rear part after heat-exchanging with the exhaust gas from the front part which was already desulfurized for lowering its temperature.
CONSTITUTION: The air-intake system of the window box 12 of the DL sintering machine 11 is divided into approx. 2/3 (the front part) of grate and 1/3 (rear part) of grate. The fresh air is supplied into the front part, and in the rear part, the intaken air from the window box 12 is discharged through the conduit 18' by means of the blower 14. The exhaust gas is introduced to the heat exchanger 19 to lower its temperature and then discharged to the outside through the conduit 13 and the dust remover 14' for partial purification. Instead, fresh air 10 is partly supplied to this gas and the mixed gas is recycled from the cover 15 to the rear part. On the other hand, the intaken gas from the front part is treated in the dust remover 23 and the desulfurization apparatus 21 after passing through the conduit 18. Then, the gas is discharged to the outside after heat-exchanging by the heat exchanger 19 and passing through the denitrification apparatus 22. Thus, the total amount of exhaust gas is reduced to approx. 1/2, treating cost for SOx and NOx emissions is reduced, and the denitrification efficiency is raised.
