Abstract

CONSTITUTION: When flat beam light B1 extending in the horizontal direction from a light source 1 is generated and an analog signal voltage is applied to a deflection element 2 through an analog signal input terminal 6, this light B1 is deflected in the vertical direction according to the value thereof to be light B2, which enters a photoelectric transducer row 3 through a coding plate 4. The photoelectric transducer row 3 has a parallel disposition of, for instance, four photoelectric transducers D1 to D4 which have the photo receiving surface extending in the vertical direction, and coded digital signals of finary display are outputted from output terminals T1 to T4 of an output terminal row 8 thereof.
