【考案の詳細な説明】

【産業上の利用分野】
この考案は、使い捨てのパンツ型おむつに関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、熱溶着性のシート材料からなる使い捨てパンツ型おむつにおいて、左右 の腰周り側部で前後身頃を熱溶着によってシールする技術は、公知である。例え ば、本出願人の出願に係る特開平５−１５５５１号公報には、超音波技術を利用 してパンツ型おむつの腰周り側部にその周り方向に長辺を有する矩形の溶着部を 縦一列に間欠的に配置してシールする技術が開示してある。この技術を利用する と、シールした側部を引き裂くことによって着用したおむつを簡単に脱がせるこ とができる。また、間欠的に配置した溶着部間、すなわち非溶着部において、お むつ内外が連通し、通気性のよいおむつを得ることができる。

【考案が解決しようとする課題】
このおむつを引き裂く場合に、表裏面のシート材料は、溶着部の周縁において 裂ける傾向にある。通常使用するシート材料は、坪量の小さい薄手の不織布やプ ラスチックフィルムであって、相対的に引き裂き強度が低く、シート材料を重ね 合わせて溶着すると、当該溶着部の強度が相対的に高くなり、非溶着部と溶着部 との境界に引き裂く力が集中するからである。そのために、このおむつでは、腰 周り方向にある矩形の長辺に沿ってシートが裂けるときに、裂け目がそのまま腰 周り方向、すなわち横方向へ進んで前身頃や後身頃まで裂けてしまい、おむつ縦 方向へ裂けない場合がある。表裏面シートに縦横で引き裂き強度に差があって、 横方向のそれが特に弱いとその現象が生じ易い。おむつは、縦方向へ裂けなけれ ば腰周り側部を引き裂いて速やかに脱がせることができず、所期の目的を達成し えないという問題が生ずる。
【０００４】 そこで、この考案においては、溶着部の少なくとも一部におむつの横方向へ向 かって拡開する外形線を設け、おむつがその外形線に沿って斜め下方向へ容易に 裂けるようにして、前記問題を解決することを課題にしている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この考案が前記課題を解決するために手段とするところは、以下のとおりであ る。
【０００６】 この考案においては、各々が熱溶着性である透液性表面シートと不透液性裏面 シートとの間に吸液性コアが介在し、前記コアの側縁から側方へ延出する表裏面 シートを腰周り側部で重ね合わせ縦方向へ連なる溶着部でそれらをシールするこ とにより前身頃と後身頃とを接合した使い捨てパンツ型おむつが前提である。
【０００７】 かかる前提において、溶着部の少なくとも一部におむつの横方向へ向かってＶ 字型、ハの字型、または円弧をなす外形線を設けたことがこの考案の特徴である 。

このように構成した使い捨てパンツ型おむつにおいては、腰周り側部を引き裂 くと、表裏面シートは、おむつ横方向へ向かって拡開する溶着部の外形線に沿っ て縦方向へと裂け、腰周り方向へ裂けることがない。

【００１２】 図１、２において、おむつ１と本体１Ａは、透液性表面シート２と不透液性裏 面シート３と、これら両シート２，３間に介在する吸液性コア４とからなり、前 身頃５と、後身頃６と、股下部７とを有する。表面シート２は、熱可塑性繊維か らなる不織布であり、裏面シート３は、熱可塑性プラスチックフィルムであって 、両シート２，３は互いに熱溶着可能である。図２において、本体１Ａでは表裏 面シート２，３がコア４の周縁から延出し、その延出する部分は互いに間欠的に 接着剤（図示せず）により接合している。本体１Ａをその長手方向を二分する中 心線Ｘ−Ｘに沿って内側へ折曲し、コア４の側縁から延出して重なり合う表裏面 シート２，３によって形成された前後身頃５，６の側縁部に縦方向へ並ぶ溶着部 １０を設けてシールすることによりパンツ型おむつ１が得られる。おむつ１は、 腰周り開口部１１と左右一対の脚周り開口部１２とを有し、各開口部１１，１２ の周縁には互いに並行する複数の弾性部材１３，１４が伸長状態で取付けてある 。
【００１３】 図３は、溶着部１０の詳細を示すおむつ１の腰周り側部拡大図である。この側 部上方には腰周り弾性部材１３があり、下方には脚周り弾性部材１４がある。溶 着部１０は、腰周り弾性部材１３間とその近傍とにあって、かつ、長辺１７Ａが 部材１３と並行する間欠的に配置された矩形の第１溶着パターン１７と、脚周り 弾性部材１４間とその近傍とにあって、かつ、長辺１８Ａが部材１４と並行する 間欠的に配置された矩形の第２溶着パターン１８と、部材１３と１４との間に間 欠的に配置された横Ｖ字型の第３溶着パターン１９とによって構成されている。 第１、２溶着パターン１７，１８は、縦×横が０．３〜２×３〜１０ｍｍの矩形 の溶着域であり、第３溶着パターン１９は、幅０．３〜１．５ｍｍの溶着線で描 かれた開角Ｃ＝１５〜９０°、長さＤ＝３〜１０ｍｍを有するＶ字型の溶着域で ある。いずれの溶着パターン１７，１８，１９も離隔距離ｄ＝０．５〜３ｍｍを 有し、パターン間の非溶着域においておむつ１は内外が連通し、通気性を有する 。
【００１４】 図１のおむつ１は、腰周り開口部１１において前後身頃５，６の各々を矢印Ａ ，Ｂ方向へ引張ることにより、溶着部１０に沿って上から下へと縦に裂くことが でき、簡単に脱がせることができる。おむつ１の溶着部１０は、表裏面シート２ ，３よりも高い引き裂き強度を一般に有するから、Ａ，Ｂ方向へ引張ると表裏面 シート２，３は第１、２、３溶着パターン１７，１８，１９の周縁で裂ける。し たがって、第１、２溶着パターン１７，１８では表裏面シート２，３が横方向へ 向かって裂け易く、第３溶着パターン１９では、Ｖ字型に裂けるとともに、それ が連なることにより全体としてはジグザグに斜め下方向へ向かって裂け易い。特 に表面シート２や裏面シート３の繊維や高分子がおむつ１の横方向へ配向し、横 方向へ裂け易い性状である場合には、第１、２溶着パターン１７，１８に沿って 裂けるときに前後身頃まで裂けてしまう危険性がある。しかし、このおむつ１で は、第１、２溶着パターン１７，１８を腰周り、脚周りの弾性部材１３，１４近 傍に限定して配置し、その危険性を最少限度にとどめ、腰周り側部の大部分は第 ３溶着パターン１９でシールして、表裏面シート２，３が縦方向へ裂け易く、横 方向へは容易に裂けることがないようにしてある。なお、おむつ１において第１ 、２溶着パターン１７，１８を第３溶着パターン１９に代えることは可能である が、弾性部材１３や１４の間隔が狭いとＶ字型のパターン１９が弾性部材１３， １４と交又してそれらの部材１３，１４を切断したり、弾性部材１３，１４が表 裏面シート２，３の速やかな溶着を阻害したりすることがある。
【００１５】 図４、５、６は、第３溶着パターン１９の各種態様を示す図３と同様の図面で ある。図４では、横Ｖ字型の第３溶着パターン１９がおむつ１の中心方向へ向か って拡開している。Ｖ字は、その中央が不連続なハの字型であってもよい。図５ では、第３溶着パターン１９がおむつ１の横方向へ向かって拡開する円弧であっ て、その向きが互い違いになっている。図６では、第３溶着パターン１９がおむ つ１の中心方向とその逆方向へ向かって拡開する二つの横Ｖ字型外形線によって 形成されたひし形であって、ひし形全体が溶着域である。なお、図３〜６に例示 の第３溶着パターン１９は、間欠的に配置せず、連続させてもよいが、そのよう にするとおむつ１の通気性を犠牲にすることになる。
【００１６】 この考案において、第１、２、３溶着パターン１７，１８，１９を得るには、 熱溶着性である表裏面シート２，３に熱エンボス加工や超音波溶着処理を施せば よい。表面シート２には、熱可塑性繊維からなる不織布の他に開孔を有する熱可 塑性プラスチックフィルムを使用することができ、裏面シート３には、熱可塑性 プラスチックフィルムの他に、不織布や不織布とプラスチックフィルムのラミネ ート品などを使用することができる。吸液性コア４には、当該分野の慣用素材を 使用すればよい。

【考案の効果】
この考案に係る使い捨てパンツ型おむつでは、前後身頃が腰周り側部で溶着し てあり、その溶着はおむつ横方向へ向かってＶ字型、ハの字型、または円弧をな す外形線を備えた溶着部によってなされている。したがって、着用したおむつを 腰周り側部で引き裂くことによって脱がせるときに、表裏面シートは、その外形 線に沿って斜め下方向へ裂け、腰周り方向へ裂けることがなく、引き裂きミスを 招くことがない。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】各々が熱溶着性である透液性表面シートと
    不透液性裏面シートとの間に吸液性コアが介在し、前記
    コアの側縁から側方へ延出する前記表裏面シートを腰周
    り側部で重ね合わせ縦方向へ連なる溶着部でそれらをシ
    ールすることにより前身頃と後身頃とを接合した使い捨
    てパンツ型おむつにおいて、 前記溶着部の少なくとも一部に前記おむつの横方向へ向
    かってＶ字型をなす外形線を設けたことを特徴とする前
    記おむつ。
  2. 【請求項２】各々が熱溶着性である透液性表面シートと
    不透液性裏面シートとの間に吸液性コアが介在し、前記
    コアの側縁から側方へ延出する前記表裏面シートを腰周
    り側部で重ね合わせ縦方向へ連なる溶着部でそれらをシ
    ールすることにより前身頃と後身頃とを接合した使い捨
    てパンツ型おむつにおいて、 前記溶着部の少なくとも一部に前記おむつの横方向へ向
    かってハの字型をなす外形線を設けたことを特徴とする
    前記おむつ。
  3. 【請求項３】各々が熱溶着性である透液性表面シートと
    不透液性裏面シートとの間に吸液性コアが介在し、前記
    コアの側縁から側方へ延出する前記表裏面シートを腰周
    り側部で重ね合わせ縦方向へ連なる溶着部でそれらをシ
