Description
a)酸基を有し、少なくとも部分的に中和されている、少なくとも1種のエチレン性不飽和モノマー、
b)少なくとも1種の架橋剤、及び
c)少なくとも1種の開始剤
を含むモノマー溶液又はモノマー懸濁液を重合させることによって超吸収体を製造する方法であって、
得られた水性ポリマーゲルを空気循環ベルト乾燥機中で乾燥させるステップ、粉砕するステップ、分類するステップ、及び任意選択で熱的表面後架橋するステップを含み、水性ポリマーゲルが振動コンベヤーベルトによって空気循環ベルト乾燥機中に導入され、誘導装置(1)がコンベヤーベルト(2)の端部に位置している、
方法によって達成された。
この後に記載される、「WSP」と称される標準試験方法は、「Standard Test Methods for the Nonwovens Industry」、2005年版、国際的戦略パートナーのEDANA (Herrmann-Debrouxlaan 46、1160 Oudergem、Belgium、www.edana.org)とINDA (1100 Crescent Green、Suite 115、Cary、North Carolina 27518、米国、www.inda.org)とによる共同刊行、に記載されている。この刊行物は、EDANAとINDAとの両方から得ることができる。
遠心保持容量(CRC)は、EDANA推奨試験方法No. WSP 241.2 (05)「Fluid Retention Capacity in Saline, After Centrifugation」によって測定される。
吸水ポリマー粒子の抽出分の含有量は、EDANA推奨試験方法No. WSP 270.2 (05)「Extractable」によって測定される。
脱イオン水、50重量%の水酸化ナトリウム溶液及びアクリル酸を連続的に混合することによって、中和度が71.3mol%に相当するように、アクリル酸/アクリル酸ナトリウム溶液を調製した。モノマー溶液の固体含有量は、38.8重量%であった。

Claims (15)
- a)酸基を有し、少なくとも部分的に中和されている、少なくとも1種のエチレン性不飽和モノマー、
b)少なくとも1種の架橋剤、及び
c)少なくとも1種の開始剤
を含むモノマー溶液又はモノマー懸濁液を重合させることによって超吸収体粒子を製造する方法であって、
前記モノマー溶液又はモノマー懸濁液を重合させることによって得られた水性ポリマーゲルを空気循環ベルト乾燥機中で乾燥させるステップ、粉砕するステップ、及び分類するステップを含み、水性ポリマーゲルが振動コンベヤーベルトによって空気循環ベルト乾燥機中に導入され、誘導装置(1)が前記振動コンベヤーベルト(2)の放出端部に位置して、ポリマーゲルが前記振動コンベヤーベルトの駆動ドラム又は偏向ドラムのドラム表面上に付くことを防止し、前記振動コンベヤーベルトが垂直軸で周期的に旋回可能なコンベヤーベルトである、
方法。 - 誘導装置(1)の長さが振動コンベヤーベルトの長さの15%~30%であり、振動コンベヤーベルトの長さは放出端部からの旋回軸の距離である、及び/又は誘導装置(1)の高さが10~20cmである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 誘導装置(1)が、振動コンベヤーベルトの走行方向に対して直角に角度αだけ走行方向において振動コンベヤーベルトの中央に向かって回転している、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 誘導装置(1)が8°~10°回転している、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 振動コンベヤーベルトに接触している誘導装置(1)の部分がシリコーンゴムで作製されている、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 誘導装置(1)が振動コンベヤーベルトの湾曲に従う、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 誘導装置(1)が振動コンベヤーベルトの放出端部を越えて突出している、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 戻り振動コンベヤーベルトの底面が、少なくとも1つのストリッピング装置によって、付着しているポリマーゲルが取り除かれる、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 振動コンベヤーベルトの放出端部からのストリッピング装置の距離が振動コンベヤーベルトの長さの5%未満であり、振動コンベヤーベルトの長さは放出端部からの旋回軸の距離である、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 戻り振動コンベヤーベルトの底面に取り付けられたストリッピング装置がスクレーパである、請求項8又は9に記載の方法。
- スクレーパが、振動コンベヤーベルトの走行方向に対する垂線に対して15°~25°傾いている、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 戻り振動コンベヤーベルトの下側までのスクレーパの距離が0.1~5mmである、請求項10又は11に記載の方法。
- 振動コンベヤーベルトが2~10mの長さを有し、振動コンベヤーベルトの長さは放出端部からの旋回軸の距離である、請求項1から12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 振動コンベヤーベルトの表面が、23℃にて、少なくとも60°の水接触角を有する、請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 乾燥、粉砕、及び分類した水性ポリマーゲルを、熱的表面後架橋する、請求項1から14のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
