前記制御装置は、運転者の操作によらずに走行する自動運転モードで車両が減速して停車する際に、前記エンジンを負荷運転するときには、複数の候補回転数のうちの最大回転数を前記エンジンの制御用下限回転数に設定し、前記制御用下限回転数以上の範囲内で前記エンジンが負荷運転されるように前記エンジンを制御する、
ことを要旨とする。

- エンジンと第1モータと第2モータと、
前記第2モータと前記エンジンと駆動輪に連結された駆動軸とに3つの回転要素が共線図においてこの順に並ぶように接続されたプラネタリギヤと、
運転者の操作によって走行する通常運転モードと運転者の操作によらずに走行する自動運転モードとを切り替えて走行するように前記エンジンと前記第1モータと前記第2モータとを制御する制御装置と、
を備え、前記第1モータは前記駆動軸に連結されているハイブリッド車両であって、
前記制御装置は、少なくとも、前記自動運転モードで車両が減速して車速が所定車速未満で且つ前記第2モータの回生駆動を伴って前記エンジンを負荷運転するときには、複数の候補回転数のうちの最大回転数を前記エンジンの制御用下限回転数に設定し、前記制御用下限回転数以上の範囲内で前記エンジンが負荷運転されるように前記エンジンを制御する、
ハイブリッド車両。 - 請求項1記載のハイブリッド車両であって、
前記第1モータは、前記駆動軸に機械的連結部を介して連結されており、
前記複数の候補回転数は、前記エンジンのこもり音を抑制するための第1回転数と、前記機械的連結部での歯打ち音を抑制するための前記第1回転数よりも大きい第2回転数とを含む、
ハイブリッド車両。 - 請求項1記載のハイブリッド車両であって、
前記制御装置は、前記通常運転モードで前記車両が減速して前記車速が前記所定車速未満で且つ前記第2モータの回生駆動を伴って前記エンジンを負荷運転するときには、ブレーキ操作量に基づいて前記複数の候補回転数から選択した回転数を前記制御用下限回転数に設定し、前記制御用下限回転数以上の範囲内で前記エンジンが負荷運転されるように前記エンジンを制御する、
ハイブリッド車両。 - 請求項3記載のハイブリッド車両であって、
前記第1モータは、前記駆動軸に機械的連結部を介して連結されており、
前記複数の候補回転数は、前記エンジンのこもり音を抑制するための第1回転数、および、前記機械的連結部での歯打ち音を抑制するための前記第1回転数よりも大きい第2回転数であり、
前記制御装置は、
前記通常運転モードで前記車両が減速して前記車速が前記所定車速未満で且つ前記第2モータの回生駆動を伴って前記エンジンを負荷運転するときに、前記ブレーキ操作量に基づいて前記機械的連結部での歯打ち音に関する歯打ち音条件が成立していないと判定したときには、前記第1回転数を前記制御用下限回転数に設定し、前記歯打ち音条件が成立していると判定したときには、前記第2回転数を前記制御用下限回転数に設定し、
前記自動運転モードで前記車両が減速して前記車速が前記所定車速未満で且つ前記第2モータの回生駆動を伴って前記エンジンを負荷運転するときには、前記第2回転数を前記制御用下限回転数に設定する、
ハイブリッド車両。
