Description
このとき一般に、駆動力と制動力を並行して動的に制御することで、車両の速度を調整している。
第1実施形態では、後輪系にディスクブレーキタイプのEPB(Electric Parking Brake)を適用している車両用ブレーキ装置を例に挙げて説明する。図1は、第1実施形態の車両用ブレーキ装置の全体概要を示す模式図である。図2は、第1実施形態の車両用ブレーキ装置に備えられる後輪系の車輪ブレーキ機構の断面模式図である。以下、これらの図を参照して説明する。
なお、以下の各実施形態は車両が平地を走行する状況の実施例を示したものであり、従って駆動力制御部が発生する第1所定量と制動力制御部が発生する第2所定量は同等の値である。上述したように、車両が登坂または降坂を走行する状況では第1所定量と第2所定量は異なる値を示すことになる。
次に、第2実施形態について説明する。第1実施形態と同様の事項については説明を適宜省略する。なお、サービスブレーキ1とEPB2は、それぞれの制動力の大きいほうが選択的に作用するように構成されている。具体的には、図2に示す推進軸18が紙面左方向に移動した状態でモータ10が停止している場合、液圧が無くても電動制動力は維持され、また、その電動制動力よりも大きい液圧制動力があるとその液圧制動力が発生する。したがって、推進軸18が紙面左方向にある程度移動した状態にしておけば、液圧ブレーキ装置が失陥した場合でも、制動力がゼロになってしまう事態を回避でき、より安全性の高い車両制御を実現することができる。
次に、第3実施形態について説明する。第1実施形態、第2実施形態の少なくとも一方と同様の事項については説明を適宜省略する。この第3実施形態では、車両の走行中に、EPB-ECU9は、EPB2を制御して電動制動力を発生させる指示を出力しているときに、駆動力と車両の加速度の関係に基いて、EPB2が正常に作動しているか否かを判定する。つまり、液圧制動力を発生させているときは、EPB2が電動制動力をどのくらい発生できるかわからないので、以下のようにして、EPB2の故障検出を行う。
Claims (3)
- 車両の車輪が発生する駆動力を制御する駆動力制御部と、
前記車輪が発生する制動力を制御する制動力制御部と、を備える車両制御装置であって、
前記駆動力制御部が第1所定量の前記駆動力を発生させるとともに、前記制動力制御部が第2所定量の前記制動力を発生させることで、前記車両の速度を一定に制御し、
前記駆動力制御部による前記駆動力の制御と、前記制動力制御部による前記制動力の制御の一方を行うことで、加速、減速のいずれも制御可能であり、
前記車両は、前記車輪に制動力を発生させる装置として、制動力発生のためのエネルギー供給が無くなった後も前記エネルギー供給が無くなる前の制動力を保持できる制動力保持機構付きブレーキ装置としてのEPB(Electric Parking Brake)と、液圧ブレーキ装置と、を備え、前記EPBと前記液圧ブレーキ装置は、それぞれの制動力の大きいほうが選択的に作用するように構成されており、
前記車両の走行中に、前記制動力制御部は、前記EPBを制御して前記第2所定量よりも小さい第3所定量以上の電動制動力を発生させる指示を出力しているときに、前記駆動力と前記車両の加速度の関係に基いて、前記EPBが正常に作動しているか否かを判定する、車両制御装置。 - 車両の車輪が発生する駆動力を制御する駆動力制御部と、
前記車輪が発生する制動力を制御する制動力制御部と、を備える車両制御装置であって、
前記駆動力制御部が第1所定量の前記駆動力を発生させるとともに、前記制動力制御部が第2所定量の前記制動力を発生させることで、前記車両の速度を一定に制御し、
前記駆動力制御部による前記駆動力の制御と、前記制動力制御部による前記制動力の制御の一方を行うことで、加速、減速のいずれも制御可能であり、
前記車両は、前記車輪に制動力を発生させる装置として、EPBと、液圧ブレーキ装置と、を備え、前記EPBと前記液圧ブレーキ装置は、それぞれの制動力の大きいほうが選択的に作用するように構成されており、
前記車両の停車中に、前記制動力制御部は、前記EPBを制御して前記第2所定量よりも大きい第4所定量の電動制動力を発生させ、その後、前記車両を発進させる前に、前記EPBを制御して前記電動制動力を前記第2所定量よりも小さい第3所定量まで下げる、車両制御装置。 - 前記制動力制御部は、前記車両を発進させる前に、前記EPBを制御して前記電動制動力を前記第3所定量まで下げる場合に、前記電動制動力を解除するリリース制御における制動機構駆動モータの電流特性に基いて前記電動制動力を推定することで、前記電動制動力を調整する、請求項2に記載の車両制御装置。
