Description
最初に本開示の実施態様を列記して説明する。
本開示の雌端子は、
(1)雄端子と嵌合される雌端子であって、底壁と、弾性接触片と、ガタつき抑制部と、を備え、前記弾性接触片は、前記底壁から片持ち状に延出され、前記底壁側に変位することで前記雄端子に弾性的に接触し、前記ガタつき抑制部は、前記雄端子が前記底壁側に変位した際に前記雄端子に接触可能とされている。
雄端子が底壁側に変位すると、雄端子はガタつき抑制部に接触することとなる。これにより、雄端子が底壁側に変位してガタつくことを抑制できる。
一対のガタつき抑制部は、幅方向に間隔を空けて一対配されていることから、雄端子が捻回しようとすると、一対のガタつき抑制部のうち、一方のガタつき抑制部が雄端子に接触することとなる。これにより、雄端子が捻回することを抑制できる。
弾性接触片が底壁側に変位した際に、弾性接触片が過度撓み規制部に接触することとなる。これにより、弾性接触片が過度に撓むことを抑制できる。また、弾性接触片が切り欠き部を有することで、ガタつき抑制部が弾性接触片に干渉することを防ぎつつ、ガタつき抑制部を過度撓み規制部と一体に設けることができる。例えば雌端子のサイズの制約上、過度撓み規制部とガタつき抑制部を別々の箇所に設けることが困難な場合においても、過度撓み規制部およびガタつき抑制部の双方を1つの箇所に設けることができる。
本開示の雌端子10の具体例を、以下に図面を参照しつつ説明する。なお、本開示はこれらの例示に限定されるものではなく、特許請求の範囲によって示され、特許請求の範囲と均等の意味および範囲内でのすべての変更が含まれることが意図される。
(1)上記実施形態では、弾性接触片14は底壁26の前端から後方に片持ち状に延出される構成としたが、これに限られることはなく、例えば、弾性接触片は底壁の後端側から前方に片持ち状に延出される構成としても良い。

- 雄端子と嵌合される雌端子であって、
底壁と、弾性接触片と、ガタつき抑制部と、を備え、
前記弾性接触片は、前記底壁から片持ち状に延出され、前記底壁側に変位することで前記雄端子に弾性的に接触し、
前記ガタつき抑制部は、前記雄端子が前記底壁側に変位した際に前記雄端子に接触可能とされており、
前記弾性接触片が前記底壁側に変位した際に前記弾性接触片に接触することで前記弾性接触片の過度な撓みを規制する過度撓み規制部を備え、
前記ガタつき抑制部は、前記過度撓み規制部と一体に設けられている、雌端子。 - 前記ガタつき抑制部は一対設けられており、
一対の前記ガタつき抑制部は、前記雄端子の嵌合方向および前記弾性接触片の変位方向の双方に直交する幅方向に間隔を空けて配されている、請求項1に記載の雌端子。 - 前記弾性接触片は、前記ガタつき抑制部との干渉を防ぐ切り欠き部を有する、請求項1または請求項2に記載の雌端子。
