Description
本実施形態にかかるコネクタ10は、図1~図4に示すように、FPCやFFC等の表面及び裏面を持つシート状(平板状)のケーブル(被接続部材)20が挿入される絶縁性のハウジング40を備えている。また、コネクタ10は、ハウジング40に収容されてケーブル20に導通接続されるコンタクト(端子)50を備えている。
本実施形態にかかるコネクタ10Aは、基本的に上記第1実施形態で示したコネクタ10と同様の構成をしている。

Claims (2)
- 被接続部材が挿入方向に沿って挿入されるハウジングと、
前記ハウジングに収容されて前記被接続部材に導通接続される端子と、
前記端子を前記被接続部材に導通接続させるカム部と、
を備え、
前記端子は、
第1の基部と、
前記挿入方向を水平にした状態で、前記第1の基部と対向しつつ前記挿入方向と交差する上下方向の上方に離間した状態で配置される第2の基部と、
前記第1の基部と前記第2の基部とを連結し、前記第2の基部が前記第1の基部に対して相対移動するように弾性変形する連結部と、
前記第1の基部の上面、および、前記第1の基部の上面と前記上下方向で対向する前記第2の基部の下面のうち少なくともいずれか一方の面側に設けられて前記被接続部材の導体と接触する接点部と、
を備えており、
前記カム部の前記第2の基部への摺接に伴って前記第1の基部と前記第2の基部とで前記被接続部材を挟持することにより、前記接点部と前記被接続部材とが導通接続され、
前記第1の基部は、
前記挿入方向に延在する第1の基部本体と、
前記第1の基部本体に連設され、実装材料により被実装部材に実装される実装部と、
を備えており、
前記連結部は、
前記第1の基部本体に連結される根元部と、
前記根元部に連設されて当該根元部に対して相対的に変位する相対変位部と、
を備えており、
前記第1の基部は、前記根元部の前記相対変位部側から前記第1の基部本体の前記実装部側までの間において、前記上下方向と前記挿入方向とに交差する幅方向に窪んだ凹部を3つ有しており、
前記3つの凹部は、前記幅方向の一方側に配置された第1の凹部と第2の凹部と、前記幅方向の他方側に配置された第3の凹部であり、
前記第1の基部における前記第1の凹部および前記第2の凹部に対応する位置には、それぞれ前記他方側に突出する第1の突部および第2の突部が設けられており、前記第3の凹部が前記第1の突部と前記第2の突部との間に配置されており、
前記第1の基部の上面は、前記3つの凹部が形成された部位において平坦に設けられており、
前記第1の凹部が前記実装部に隣接しており、
前記第1の基部の下面は、前記第1の凹部および前記第2の凹部に対応する位置において前記ハウジングに対して前記上下方向の上方に離間しており、前記第3の凹部に対応する位置において前記ハウジングに当接しており、
前記カム部は、前記第1の基部と前記第2の基部との間に配置されており、少なくとも前記凹部に対して前記上下方向の上方に位置しており、
前記第1の凹部、前記第2の凹部および前記第3の凹部が、前記根元部の前記相対変位部側から前記第1の基部本体の前記実装部側までの間における前記端子の周囲に形成されて前記実装材料が前記相対変位部に移動するのを抑制する空間の一部であることを特徴とするコネクタ。 - 前記カム部は、前記第1の基部に対して前記上下方向の上方に離間した状態で配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
