(式中、Tはコードの上撚り数[回/10cm]であり、Dはコードの総繊度[dtex]である。)
各試験タイヤを、リムサイズ20×8Jのホイールに組み付け、空気圧を220kPaとし、JIS K6302に準拠して、プランジャー径19±1.6mmのプランジャーを負荷速度(プランジャーの押し込み速度)50.0±1.5m/minの条件でトレッド中央部に押し付けるタイヤ破壊試験(プランジャー破壊試験)を行い、タイヤ強度(タイヤの破壊エネルギー)を測定した。評価結果は、従来例1の測定値を100とする指数にて示した。この値が大きいほど破壊エネルギー(プランジャーエネルギー)が大きく、耐ショックバースト性に優れることを意味する。特に、指数値が「130」以上の場合に、良好な性能が得られたことを意味する。
各試験タイヤをリムサイズ20×8Jのホイールに組み付けて、空気圧を200kPaとして排気量2000ccの試験車両に装着し、2名が乗車した状態で乾燥路面からなるテストコースにて、テストドライバーによる高速操縦安定性の官能評価を行った。評価結果は、従来例1を3.0(基準)とする5点法にて評価し、最高点と最低点を除いた5名の平均点で表した。この評価値が大きいほど高速操縦安定性に優れることを意味する。
各試験タイヤの重量を測定した。評価結果は、従来例1の測定値を100とする指数にて示した。この指数値が小さいほど、タイヤ重量が小さいことを意味する。

Claims (4)
- タイヤ周方向に延在して環状をなすトレッド部と、前記トレッド部の両側に配置された一対のサイドウォール部と、これらサイドウォール部のタイヤ径方向内側に配置された一対のビード部とを備え、前記一対のビード部間に装架された少なくとも1層のカーカス層と、前記トレッド部における前記カーカス層の外周側に配置された複数層のベルト層とを有する空気入りタイヤにおいて、
前記カーカス層は有機繊維コードからなるカーカスコードで構成され、前記カーカスコードの破断伸びが20%〜30%、前記カーカスコードの前記サイドウォール部における2.0cN/dtex負荷時の伸びが5.5%〜8.0%であり、且つ、前記カーカスコード1本あたりの正量繊度D〔単位:dtex/本〕と、前記カーカスコードの延長方向と直交する方向50mm当たりの前記カーカスコードの打ち込み本数Ec〔単位:本/50mm〕との積A=D×Ecが1.8×105dtex/50mm〜3.0×105dtex/50mmであり、
前記ベルト層はスチールコードからなるベルトコードで構成され、前記ベルトコードの破断応力が3300MPa以上であり、且つ、前記ベルトコード1本あたりの断面積S〔単位:mm2/本〕と、前記ベルトコードの延長方向と直交する方向50mm当たりの前記ベルトコードの打ち込み本数Eb〔単位:本/50mm〕との積B=S×Ebが6.0mm2/50mm〜7.5mm2/50mmであることを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記ベルトコードが、内層の素線数Nが2本〜4本かつ外層の素線数Mが2本〜7本であるN+M構造を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記ベルトコードが、内層の素線数Nが2本かつ外層の素線数Mが2本である2+2構造を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記内層を構成する素線が無撚り状態で引き揃えられていることを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
