Description
本願は、その全ての開示内容が参照によって本願に組み込まれる、2014年4月18日に提出された米国暫定出願番号61/981,602の「エネルギー貯蔵装置の乾式電極とその製造方法」の利点を主張する。
本願とともに提出された出願データシートにおいて外国又は国内の優先権主張が特定される全ての出願は米国特許法施行規則37CFR 1.57の下で参照によりここに含まれる。
Claims (27)
- ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)とポリエチレンオキシド(PEO)とを有する、混合バインダ材を備え、
独立した乾式電極フィルムであり、溶媒残渣を含まず、
前記混合バインダ材は、PTFE対PEOの質量比が1:1〜5:1である、電極フィルム。 - リチウムイオンバッテリーを含む、請求項1に記載の電極フィルムを含む、エネルギー貯蔵装置。
- 前記混合バインダ材は、最大で90重量%のPTFEを含有している、請求項1に記載の電極フィルム。
- 前記混合バインダ材は、PTFE対PEOの質量比が1:1〜3:1である、請求項1に記載の電極フィルム。
- 前記混合バインダ材は、PTFE対PEOの質量比が3:2〜5:1である、請求項1に記載の電極フィルム。
- カソード活性材料を含む、請求項1に記載の電極フィルム。
- アノード活性材料を含む、請求項1に記載の電極フィルム。
- ポリビニリデンフルオライド(PVDF)及びPVDF共重合体の少なくとも一方と、PTFEとを有する、混合バインダ材を備え、
独立した乾式電極フィルムであり、溶媒残渣を含まず、
前記混合バインダ材は、PTFE対PVDF又はPVDF共重合体の質量比が1:1〜5:1である、電極フィルム。 - リチウムイオンバッテリーを含む、請求項8に記載の電極フィルムを含む、エネルギー貯蔵装置。
- アノード活性材料を含む、請求項8に記載の電極フィルム。
- 炭素活性材料を有し、前記炭素活性材料がグラファイトを含む、請求項10に記載の電極フィルム。
- 前記混合バインダ材が最大で90重量%のPTFEを含有している、請求項8に記載の電極フィルム。
- カソード活性材料を含む、請求項8に記載の電極フィルム。
- 前記混合バインダ材は、PTFE対PVDF又はPVDF共重合体の質量比が1:1〜3:1である請求項8に記載の電極フィルム。
- 2重量%から10重量%の前記混合バインダ材を含んでいる、請求項8に記載の電極フィルム。
- 第1混合物を形成するために、アノード活性材料と、混合バインダ材の少なくとも1つの成分とを混合する処理と、
第2混合物を形成するために、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)を前記第1混合物に添加する処理と、
前記第2混合物を高せん断にさらす処理と、
を備え、
前記少なくとも1つの成分は、ポリビニリデンフルオライド(PVDF)、PVDF共重合体、及びポリエチレンオキシド(PEO)のうちの少なくとも1つを含み、
溶媒を用いない乾式の作製工程であり、
PTFE対前記少なくとも1つの成分の質量比は1:1〜5:1である、アノード電極フィルムの作製方法。 - 前記混合する処理及び添加する処理の両方は、20℃から75℃の温度でのブレンディングを含む、請求項16に記載の作製方法。
- 前記第2混合物を高せん断にさらす処理は、PTFEのフィブリル化を含む、請求項17に記載の作製方法。
- 前記フィブリル化はジェットミル処理を含む請求項18に記載の作製方法。
- 前記混合する処理は、前記第1混合物を形成するために、導電性炭素付加物と前記アノード活性材料及び前記混合バインダ材の少なくとも1つの成分とを混合することをさらに含む、請求項16に記載の作製方法。
- PTFEと前記少なくとも1つの成分との質量比が1:1〜3:1である請求項16に記載の作製方法。
- 独立した乾式電極フィルムを形成する、前記第2混合物のカレンダ処理をさらに備える、請求項16に記載の作製方法。
- 第1混合物を形成するために、多孔性炭素材料と、混合バインダ材の少なくとも1つの成分とを混合する処理と、
前記多孔性炭素材料と、前記混合バインダ材の少なくとも1つの成分とを含む第1混合物を高せん断にさらす処理と、
カソード活性材料を添加して第2混合物を形成し、前記第2混合物にポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)を添加して電極フィルム混合物を形成する処理とを備え、
前記少なくとも1つの成分は、ポリビニリデンフルオライド(PVDF)、PVDF共重合体、及びポリエチレンオキシド(PEO)のうち少なくとも1つを含み、
溶媒を用いない乾式の作製工程であり、
PTFE対前記少なくとも1つの成分の質量比は、1:1〜5:1である、カソード電極フィルムの作製方法。 - 前記多孔性炭素材料は活性炭素を含み、前記少なくとも1つの成分はPVDFを含み、前記混合する処理は、前記活性炭素とPVDFとを1:1から1:5の質量比で混合すること含む、請求項23に記載の作製方法。
- 前記混合する処理は、多孔性炭素材料の第1分量を混合することを含み、
前記第1混合物を高剪断にさらす処理よりも後で、前記第2混合物を形成するために、多孔質炭素材料の第2分量、及び導電性炭素添加剤とを混合する処理をさらに備えている、請求項23に記載の作製方法。 - 前記カソード活性材料は、リチウムニッケルマンガンコバルト酸化物を含む請求項25に記載の作製方法。
- 独立した乾式電極フィルムを形成する、前記電極フィルム混合物のカレンダ処理をさらに備える、請求項23に記載の作製方法。
