Description
図1は、本発明の一実施形態を示すタイヤ1のトレッド部2の展開図である。本実施形態のタイヤ1は、例えば、乗用車用や重荷重用の空気入りタイヤ、及び、タイヤの内部に加圧された空気が充填されない非空気式タイヤ等の様々なタイヤに用いることができる。本実施形態のタイヤ1は、例えば、空気入りタイヤであって、乗用車用の冬用タイヤとして好適に使用される。
装着リム:16×6.5
タイヤ内圧:前輪240kPa、後輪220kPa
テスト車両:排気量2000cc、前輪駆動車
タイヤ装着位置:全輪
トレッド幅TW:172mm
外側部の角度θ1:25°
内側部の角度θ2:50°
各テストタイヤを装着したテスト車両で雪上を走行したときのトラクション性能、ブレーキ性能、及び、旋回性能に関する走行特性が、運転者の官能により評価された。結果は、比較例を100とする評点であり、数値が大きい程、雪上性能が優れていることを示す。
上記テスト車両で、水深5mmかつ長さ20mの水たまりが設けられた半径100mのアスファルト路面を走行し、前輪の横加速度(横G)が計測された。結果は、速度50〜80km/hの平均横Gであり、比較例の値を100とする指数で示されている。数値が大きい程、ウェット性能が優れていることを示す。
テストの結果が表1に示される。

Claims (3)
- タイヤであって、
第1トレッド端と第2トレッド端とで区画されたトレッド部を有し、
前記トレッド部には、第1トレッド端又は第2トレッド端の一方のトレッド端からタイヤ赤道側に向かって斜めにのびる複数の傾斜主溝と、前記傾斜主溝と隣接しかつ前記一方のトレッド端からタイヤ赤道側に向かってのびかつタイヤ赤道の手前で途切れる傾斜副溝とを含み、
前記各傾斜主溝は、前記一方のトレッド端から斜めにのびるタイヤ軸方向の外側部と、前記外側部と同じ向きに傾斜するタイヤ軸方向の内側部と、前記外側部と前記内側部との間に設けられかつ前記外側部とは逆向きに傾斜する中間部とを含み、
前記内側部は、前記一方のトレッド端の反対側となる他方のトレッド端に至っておらず、
前記傾斜副溝は、隣接する前記傾斜主溝の前記外側部に沿ってのびる第1部分と、前記第1部分とは逆向きに傾斜してのびる第2部分とを含み、
前記第2部分は、前記第1部分よりも小さい溝幅を有することを特徴とするタイヤ。 - 前記傾斜主溝は、少なくともタイヤ赤道までのびている請求項1記載のタイヤ。
- 前記傾斜主溝は、前記第1トレッド端からのびる第1傾斜主溝と、前記第2トレッド端からのびる第2傾斜主溝とを含み、
前記第1傾斜主溝の前記内側部は、前記第2傾斜主溝の前記中間部に連なり、前記第2傾斜主溝の前記内側部は、前記第1傾斜主溝の前記中間部に連なっている請求項1又は2に記載のタイヤ。
