Claims (14)
- アクセスデバイスの製造方法において:
複数のジグザグ要素を含む複数の弾性要素を作成するステップであって、複数の前記ジグザグ要素が、前記アクセスデバイスの平面内に弛緩状態で互いに隣接して配置されているステップと;
前記平面内で前記弾性要素を横方向に弾性的に拡張して、前記ジグザグ要素を少なくとも部分的に真っ直ぐにしてストレス状態にするステップと;
第1の面を有する柔軟なベース材料の第1の層を作成するステップと;
ストレス状態にある前記弾性要素を用いて、当該弾性要素を前記第1の面に対して配置するステップと;
柔軟なベース材料の第2の層を、前記弾性要素および前記第1の層の上に設けて、前弾性要素を前記ベース材料の中に埋め込むステップと;

複数のジグザグ要素を含む複数の弾性要素を作成するステップであって、複数の前記ジグザグ要素が、前記アクセスデバイスの平面内に弛緩状態で互いに隣接して配置されているステップと;
前記平面内で前記弾性要素を横方向に弾性的に拡張して、前記ジグザグ要素を少なくとも部分的に真っ直ぐにしてストレス状態にするステップと;
第1の面を有する柔軟なベース材料の第1の層を作成するステップと;
ストレス状態にある前記弾性要素を用いて、当該弾性要素を前記第1の面に対して配置するステップと;
柔軟なベース材料の第2の層を、前記弾性要素および前記第1の層の上に設けて、前弾性要素を前記ベース材料の中に埋め込むステップと;
前記ベース材料内に前記弾性要素を埋め込んだ後に、前記弾性要素を解放することで前記ジグザグ要素が前記弛緩状態へと戻るようにバイアスされ、これにより前記ベース材料にプレストレスを与えて、前記弾性要素を前記平面内で横方向に短くなる方へバイアスするステップと;を含み、
前記アクセスデバイスが円筒形を画定し、前記平面内で横方向に弾性的に拡張された前記弾性要素が、少なくとも部分的に真っ直ぐにされた前記ジグザグ要素を前記弾性要素の長さに沿った方向に有しており、前記ベース材料にその長さに沿ったプレストレスを与えていることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項2に記載の方法において、前記ベース材料が管状体を形成し、当該方法がさらに、前記ベース材料を分裂または分割して、前記アクセスデバイスの第1および第2の端部の間に延在するサイドエッジを設けるステップを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項3に記載の方法において、前記ベース材料が、レーザカッティングおよび機械カッティングのいずれかによって分割されることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の方法が、さらに、露出面の上にファブリック(360)を設けるステップを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の方法において、前記第1の層がエラストマーベースを具え、前記第2の層を設ける前に、前記エラストマーベースに前記弾性要素が鋳型の空洞にわたって取り付けられ、前記弾性要素はストレス状態に拡張されていることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項6に記載の方法において、前記第1の層がエラストマーチューブを有し、前記第2の層が設けられる前に、前記弾性要素が前記エラストマーチューブの外面に取り付けられることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の方法において、柔軟なベース材料の第1の層を作成するステップが、前記第1の面のジグザグ要素の形状に対応する複数の凹部を作成するステップを含み、前記ジグザグ要素を前記第1の面に対して配置するステップが、前記ジグザグ要素を前記凹部と係合させるステップを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項8に記載の方法において、柔軟なベース材料の第1の層を作成するステップが、前記第1の層をモールディングして前記凹部を有するようにするステップを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の方法において、柔軟なベース材料の第2の層を設けるステップが、柔軟なベース材料を前記ジグザグ要素の上にモールディングするステップを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- アクセスデバイスにおいて:
柔軟なベース材料の層と;
複数のジグザグ要素を含む複数の弾性要素であって、複数の前記ジグザグ要素が、前記アクセスデバイスの平面内に弛緩状態で互いに隣接して配置されている複数の弾性要素と;を具え、
前記ジグザグ要素が弛緩状態に戻る方へとバイアスされて、これにより前記ベース材料に横方向にプレストレスが与えてあり、
前記アクセスデバイスが円筒形を画定し、前記弾性要素が弾性的に拡張されてストレス状態にされ、前記弾性要素をベース材料内に埋め込む前に、前記ジグザグ要素が前記弾性要素の長さに沿った方向に少なくとも部分的に真っ直ぐにされていることを特徴とするアクセスデバイス。 - 請求項11に記載のアクセスデバイスにおいて、前記ベース材料がエラストマー材料を含むことを特徴とするアクセスデバイス。
- 請求項11に記載のアクセスデバイスにおいて、ストレス状態にある前記弾性要素が柔軟なベース材料の第1および第2の層の中に埋め込まれ、柔軟なベース材料の前記第1および第2の層の中に前記弾性要素を埋め込んだ後で、前記弾性要素を解放して前記ジグザグ要素が前記弛緩状態に戻る方へとバイアスされ、これにより前記ベース材料に前記弾性要素の長さに沿った方向にプレストレスが与えられていることを特徴とするアクセスデバイス。
- 請求項11に記載のアクセスデバイスが、さらに、露出面の上に設けられたファブリックを具えることを特徴とするアクセスデバイス。
