Claims (18)
- 第1屈折率を有し第1の厚さを有する複数の第1層及び前記第1屈折率より小さい第2屈折率を有し第2の厚さを有する複数の第2層がそれぞれ交互に積層された複数の第1積層構造と、
前記複数の第1積層構造上に配置され、第3屈折率を有し第3の厚さを有する複数の第3層及び前記第3屈折率より小さい第4屈折率を有し第4の厚さを有する複数の第4層がそれぞれ交互に積層された第2積層構造と、
隣接する前記第1積層構造の間、及び前記第1積層構造と前記第2積層構造との間に配置され、前記第2層又は前記第4層と同一の物質からなるバッファ層と、
を備え、
前記バッファ層の厚さは、前記第2層及び前記第4層のいずれの厚さよりも大きく、
前記第4層に対する前記第3層の厚さ比は、前記第2層に対する前記第1層の厚さ比よりも大きい偏光板。 - 前記第1屈折率は、前記第3屈折率と実質的に同じである、請求項1に記載の偏光板。
- 前記第2屈折率は、前記第4屈折率と実質的に同じである、請求項2に記載の偏光板。
- 前記第1層及び前記第3層は、第1物質を含み、
前記第2層及び前記第4層は、第2物質を含み、
前記第2層の前記第2物質に対する前記第1層の前記第1物質の成分比は、前記第4層の前記第2物質に対する前記第3層の前記第1物質の成分比と異なる、請求項3に記載の偏光板。 - 前記第1層及び前記第3層は、同じ物質を含み、
前記第2層及び前記第4層は、同じ物質を含む、請求項3に記載の偏光板。 - 前記第1層及び前記第3層は第1物質を含み、
前記第2層及び前記第4層は第2物質を含み、

前記第2パネルが配置され、光を提供するバックライトユニットと、
を備え、
前記第2偏光板は、
第1屈折率を有し第1の厚さを有する複数の第1層及び前記第1屈折率より小さい第2屈折率を有し第2の厚さを有する複数の第2層がそれぞれ交互に積層された複数の第1積層構造と、
前記複数の第1積層構造上に配置され、第3屈折率を有し第3の厚さを有する複数の第3層及び前記第3屈折率より小さい第4屈折率を有し第4の厚さを有する複数の第4層がそれぞれ交互に積層された第2積層構造と、
隣接する前記第1積層構造の間、及び前記第1積層構造と前記第2積層構造との間に配置され、前記第2層又は前記第4層と同一の物質からなるバッファ層と、
を備え、
前記バッファ層の厚さは、前記第2層及び前記第4層のいずれの厚さよりも大きく、
前記第4層に対する前記第3層の厚さ比は、前記第2層に対する前記第1層の厚さ比よりも大きい液晶表示装置。 - 前記第1屈折率は、前記第3屈折率と実質的に同じである、請求項10に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第2屈折率は、前記第4屈折率と実質的に同じである、請求項11に記載の液晶表示装置。
