光、水および/または天候安定性を増加させるために、または、顔料の各適用媒体への組み込み向上のために、実施例1〜3のエフェクト顔料をポストコーティングに付す。ポストコーティングは、以下の特許出願および特許に記載されているように行われる:

実施例1〜3の顔料の場合のポストコーティングの割合は、エフェクト顔料を基準として、いずれの場合も、2%である。
実施例A1:塗料系
90重量%のHydroglasurBG/S 無色(Ernst Diegel GmbHの水性塗料)
10重量%の実施例1の青みがかった銀色のエフェクト顔料
80℃での吹付けによる塗装
80℃で5分間の予備乾燥
180℃で20分間焼付け
タンブルミキサー中で、ポリスチレン細粒1kgをカップリング剤5gで均一に湿らせる。次いで、実施例2のエフェクト顔料42gを加え、2分間混合する。これらの細粒は、射出成形機で、従来の条件下、4×3×0.5cmの寸法を有する階段状のプレートに変えられる。この階段状プレートは、その顕著な輝き効果によって識別される。
Claims (17)
- 粒子の90%が5〜45μmの範囲内である等価直径分布を有するAl2O3フレークが、表面上に、2つの、屈折率nが1.9を超える高屈折率コーティングを有し、これらの層が二酸化チタンと、イルメナイト(FeTiO3)、またはTiO2/Fe2O3およびFeTiO3とからなり、二酸化チタンの層の厚さが15〜200nmであることを特徴とするエフェクト顔料。
- Al2O3フレークの形状因子(アスペクト比:直径/厚さの比)が、30〜200であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエフェクト顔料。
- Al 2 O 3 フレークの厚さが、150〜450nmであることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載のエフェクト顔料。
- Al2O3フレークが、鋼玉であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のエフェクト顔料。
- Al2O3フレークが、TiO2、ZrO2、SiO2、In2O3、SnO2、またはZnO、またはそれらの混合物がドープされていることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のエフェクト顔料。
- Al 2 O 3 フレークが、TiO 2 、ZrO 2 、SiO 2 、In 2 O 3 、SnO 2 、またはそれらの混合物がドープされていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のエフェクト顔料。
- ドーピングの割合が、基材を基準にして5%未満であることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項以上に記載のエフェクト顔料。
- Al2O3フレークが、表面上に、まず二酸化チタンの層を有し、続いてFeTiO3の層を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか一項以上に記載のエフェクト顔料。
- 二酸化チタンの層が、ルチルの形態であることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか一項以上に記載のエフェクト顔料。
- イルメナイト層の厚さが、5〜100nmであることを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれか一項以上に記載のエフェクト顔料。
- 銀色のエフェクト顔料であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のエフェクト顔料。
- Al2O3フレークのコーティングが、湿式化学法により、水性媒体中での金属塩からの析出、およびその後の還元ガス雰囲気中での焼成によって実施されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載のエフェクト顔料の製造方法。
- 塗料、ボタンペースト、自動車用塗料、自動車補修塗料、粉末コーティング、印刷インク、偽造防止印刷インク、プラスチック、セラミック材料、ガラス、紙、コーティングシード、偽造防止用途、プラスチックおよび紙のレーザーマーキングのためのドーパント、プラスチックのレーザー溶接のための添加剤、化粧品配合物、並びに、顔料調製物および乾燥調製物の調製における請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載のエフェクト顔料の使用。
- 請求項1〜11のいずれか一項以上に記載のエフェクト顔料の1種以上を含む配合物。
- さらに、吸収剤、収斂剤、抗菌物質、酸化防止剤、発汗抑制剤、消泡剤、ふけ防止有効化合物、帯電防止剤、バインダー、生物学的添加剤、漂白剤、キレート剤、脱臭剤、皮膚軟化剤、乳化剤、乳化安定剤、染料、湿潤剤、塗膜形成剤、芳香剤、香味料、防虫剤、防腐剤、防食剤、整髪油、溶剤、酸化剤、植物成分、緩衝物質、還元剤、界面活性剤、推進剤ガス、乳白剤、UVフィルターおよびUV吸収剤、変性剤、粘度調整剤、香料、およびビタミンからなる群から選択される少なくとも1つの成分を含む請求項14に記載の配合物。
- 1種以上のバインダー、任意で1種以上の添加剤、および1種以上の請求項1〜11のいずれか一項以上に記載のエフェクト顔料を含む顔料調製物およびペースト。
- 1種以上の請求項1〜11のいずれか一項以上に記載のエフェクト顔料を含む、ペレット、顆粒、チップ、ブリケット、ビーズ、ソーセージの形態の乾燥調製物。
